about peanut butter?

I say it's savoury. My husband says it's sweet. "I would put it in the same bracket as Nutella" he says. I would have it as a savoury option on toast. I know it has sugar in it, Weetabix does as well but I'm sure most people would say that is savoury.

So, peanut butter: savoury or sweet?

Savoury, and crunchy too, anything else is just a waste!

Pure peanut butter (ground up peanuts) is unquestionably savoury, not much sweetness to it at all. Of cours a lot of brands do add sugar and make it sweeter. So it's both, depending on the brand. Buy the pure stuff.

Savoury, but oh so disgustingly foul.

shrimponastick · 14/06/2012 10:11

Oh no!

Now I am going to be weighing this up in myhead all day. Then will have to quiz DS and DH about it later... and they will laugh at me for being so trivial.... Grin

However I say sweet. Even though it is peanuts, I tend to have it in a sandwich with jam :) Hence the need for regular 6 mile runs....

Favourite is the Skippy crunchy! Smooth just isn't quite as satisfying.

Savoury definitely!

Weetabix savoury NO WAY!

I like smooth peanut butter in a sandwich with iceberg lettuce and mayo-sounds odd but its lovely the lettuce cuts through the clag mmmmmm fancy one now!

Hate whole earth unless its improved in the last 25 yrs-found it too oily.

pnb is sweet - at least the stuff I eat is.
Slathered an inch thick on white toast spread with proper actual butter
