...because you had a saucy dream about them?!

Am I the only person this has happened to? Most recent example was last night. I've just remembered the dream because of a reference in another thread.

In my dream, Hugh Grant took me by private jet to his house on the Isle of Man (no idea if he has a house on the Isle of Man, nor why the Isle of Man, a place I have no connection to whatsoever, featured) and was trying to seduce me but I was spurning his advances because I'm married.

I have never ever previously found HG remotely attractive and think he comes across as very slimy and arrogant but my flashbacks to the dream have made me come over all unneccessary!

Has this happened to anyone else or AIBU to allow my dreams to affect me like this?!

Happened to me. I previously thought Benedict Cumberbatch was an ugly, weird looking man. Then I had a saucy dream involving him being all sherlocky at me and seducing me with lots of red wine. Yuuuuuum.

fallenangle, no, I would be utterly mortified! I once told a gay colleague, about whom I never had a dream, thank goodness, and he told me I seriously needed to find a boyfriend. I have to say, since being with DH, I have far fewer sexy dreams.

I love the stories of people ending up with their 'dream men'!

Years ago I had a v sexy dream about someone I worked with (not directly with, just in the same organisation, thank God). He was a nice man and pleasant-looking, but I'd had zero sexual feelings about him pre-dream.

My office was also where the small staff library and a table and chairs for skiving breaks were housed, so I'd see him every now and again when he came in. After the dream I seriously couldn't look him in the eye and blushed just knowing he was in the room!

I also had a gorgeous dream about Andy Murray during last year's Wimbledon; not saucy, just that I was his girlfriend. We were having a conversation about how he was going to handle a tough press conference and it was lovely; very intimate and mutually supportive and loving Blush.

I developed a raging crush over Wimbledon fortnight but it dissipated afterwards. Since he's back on screen in this year's French Open, though, the crush has reared its head again. Grin
