I know it is a tv programme and I know where the off switch is.

But the story line where jean has been conned out of thousands of pounds, then Michael making out her bipolar symptoms are becoming out of control.

YANBU. How many times can one show make out women to be crazy, demoralised or find "happiness" in the arms of a man? Like we can't be stable and happy alone....they always seem to make women weak characters (much like a lot of tv though, woman are just not represented fairly). I stopped watching it after the baby swap and don't miss it one bit.

It does happen and has already been filmed, Charlie Brookes is taking 6 months off.

It's the end of the month things like 'janine needs Michaels support after the tragic events of their wedding but where is he' etc

I feel the Tamwar and Afia storyline was very rushed! No real discussion, she's off!
Absolutely ridiculous. Her exit could have been far more creative.

It's completely flawed. All the nonsense about Janine asking Michael to pay for deposits and stump up cash thus necessitating him to steal from Jean is weak - she knows he's not flush. She wouldn't expect him to pay and she'd wonder where the money was coming from.

I stopped watching just before the hideous baby swap story but thought I'd probably end up going back to being an ardent viewer.

But I haven't and don't watch any soaps now. Reading about the storylines on this thread are not enticing me back either tbh

I love EE and normally watch it, but havn't this week, decided to wait until this was over.

I watched EE for years, but stopped when Carol had sex in the kitchen with her dead son's best friend, just after the boy died. I mean, really, come on, it was the pits!

They are both acting their socks off though.
