The deletions are annoying me too but I think MNHQ have been at least trying to be clearer with them.

I do wish when I report saying 'I am sure this thread is genuine but can you keep an eye on it for x reasons', I didn't always get a reply saying, 'Well, we think this thread is genuine ...'.

I find the bans inconsistent.

It's an actual waste of time to post to say "I don't care" easier to just no bother replying. yes it was and I was just wasting time as I had nothing better to do at that point. wish I did, but I dont have a life, hence why I waste my time reading and replying to random posts on here Its just something I do every so often, I thought that was the norm?

I actually do care because their are certain people who posts I enjoy reading which is actually why I asked. And that's answered my question of why does anybody care as I never notice names unless they speak to me or I to them. Thank you

My earlier post wasn't meant the way it sounded, it was just a why do people care if people have left a forum when a lot of the time people dont know who they are really talking to? You answered me thank you. Sorry to bring it back up a bit later on, I had RL things to deal with (getting DCs to bed and actually talking to DH )

I must have this view as Ive always thought of MN more like Picadilly Circus than a cosy pub because not only are there loads of members, but when people NC a lot (like me admitedly) just adds to it.
