To shower twice a day when it's very hot?!

The evenings have been so hot recently, I like to have a quick shower before bed so I can go to bed cool. Apprently this is bizarre and no-one else does this . It seems logically to me to keep cool, i can't be the only one who does this? Hoping some MNetters do it too, if so, this will be second time this week MN has agrees with me and he was been wrong

Everyone who wears suntan lotion showers twice in this house, once in the morning, once before bed to get it off.

I do! One in the morning and one when I get home hot after the journey home. I open all the windows and close all the curtains so once I've had the shower I stay cool until bedtime. Normally I only shower every other day, but when it's hot you do what you have to.

To cool down in bed, spray yourself with a misting of water from a (clean) plant sprayer. If this isn't enough, lie in front of a fan too. It cools you down on even the hottest nights, and the best thing is that unlike a shower, you can do it lying down. [lazy]

YANBU. After my journey back from work on the 30 degree tube I need a second shower!

I don't have a chance to shower daily these days, but I always much prefer to shower before bed and feel clean and cosy than in the mornings as I dash around....

Thank you, I shall continue to have my evening shower but will actually enjoy it this time without feeling like I an a weirdo!
