Goes off in search of expats board.....

I've only been to the US once, but it was enough to experience the dayglo crack-like beauty of Mac n Cheese.

Let me get some in before you spread the word Grin

it is lovely between 2 slices of buttered white bread, with sliced dogs and ketchup or with tuna and peas stirred through....or scoffed straight out of the pan!

DrSeuss · 12/05/2012 19:54

Nigella makes them.

Ginger, Zombie doesn't know if the Tescos in South Shropshire have Caribbean sections. But at least she now knows what to look for. Thank you!

How far are you from SShrops, SDTG? Zombie can then calculate an ETA for you. Grin

Zombie sometimes has Herta hotdogs and a small tin of baked beans for lunch.

GingerWrath · 12/05/2012 21:22

Mmmmm baked beans with maple syrup, onion and Worcestershire sauce in!

I am in Dorset, have also found roasted salted sunflower seeds.

Housewife2010 · 12/05/2012 21:24

My top tip is to split a muffin, insert a RPBC & put it in a toaster bag in the toaster for a couple of minutes. I did this a lot when RPBC were briefly available for 19p from Home Bargains. (Toaster Bags are available there too). Perfect hot, cheery, chocolatey, nutty treat!

I got a bit addicted to those peanut butter kitcats. I saw an advert for the Philadelphia chocolate spread. Sounds horrible. Had to stop buying nutella I loved it so much. Not tried those Reese Peanut butter things yet. Not even sure what they are.

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 21:39

Dorset is about 25 years ahead of Shropshire, Ginger.

My ILs are in Salop! Posting stuff can be arranged!

Housewife2010 · 12/05/2012 21:55

Choc Philly is yummy. If you like chocolate cheesecake you'll like it.

HavePatience · 12/05/2012 21:56

I cannot believe that I didn't know tesco has Kraft mac and cheese. I am so happy! :) love love love MN

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 22:21

Zombie will keep that in mind, Ginger. She and DZH are sometimes down south as well. DZH rents out his house in Bournemouth and we go down once a year or so to check on things. DSD2 lives in So'ton. We've been known to pop over to have dinner at Storm in Poole.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/05/2012 22:37

Zombie - I'm near Glasgow - a bit of a trek from Shropshire. Interestingly, though, I grew up in south shrops, and mum still lives there.

HavePatience · 13/05/2012 07:20

Oh. Not at SE tesco Sad
