Today was the first day I've ever spotted RPBC in Sainsburys! Cause to celebrate, with double chocolate?

Chunky Peanut Butter KitKats won the competition KitKat ran a few months ago to find out which one people wanted them to produce. They were supposed to be available in the shops from 23rd April.

Having said that, Zombie has been unable to locate any within a 25 mile radius yet. The only one she has had is the one KitKat sent her for being one of the first 500 people to click a link on their Facebook page. She continues her search and will purchase the entire stock once she finds them.

Zombie remembers when Reece's Peanut Butter Cups first arrived in the UK. None of the major stores around here stocked them but a localish garage did. Zombie may or may not have on several occasions got the garage to order an entire box for her.

Zombie denies that she is addicted to peanut butter / chocolate combinations...

I have found that most Tescos stock RPBC, I do not get a lookin because my DD always finds my stash and scoffs them!

sausagesandmarmelade · 12/05/2012 10:01

SACRILEGE!

RPBCs should be eaten in their unadulterated glory....all three in one sitting.

I order mine online....much cheaper that in the shops

RubyGates · 12/05/2012 10:09

Once had an entire bag of the mini RPBCs brought back from New York by her lovely OH. Can you guess how long it took me to eat them?

justtryingtodomybest · 12/05/2012 10:22

My local Asda is now stocking lots of American chocolate - Hershey bars, kisses etc. And also RPBC - which I love, love, love. Still in my PJs but feel the need to dash out to get some.

georgesmummy11 · 12/05/2012 10:24

I love RPBC and all other reeses products asda stock them along with lots if hersey chocolate and fluff. Love American candy. Was born in the wrong country

ariadneoliver · 12/05/2012 10:27

Reese's Nutrageous bars are the best. YABU to dip anything in Chocolate Philadelphia, it's vile and as someone pointed out on another thread it has a bizarre meaty aftertaste.

fedupofnamechanging · 12/05/2012 14:55

What we really need, are RPBCs made with Dairy Milk or Lindt.

sugarice · 12/05/2012 15:00

Put them in the freezer first .Smile heaven .

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/05/2012 15:05

Zombie - I make fridge cake with a mix of dark and milk chocolate, lashings of crunchy peanut butter, a bit of golden syrup, biscuit, marshmallow and anything else I have to hand and feel like throwing in - cherries, sultanas and suchlike. It is utterly delicious and I may have to persuade dh to take me to Asda later so I can buy the ingredients and make some.

bebemoojem · 12/05/2012 15:06

Lindt does have peanut butter filled chocolates...or at least they do in the States.
I am unreasonably pleased to see more and more American Candy over here...now if they'd just get some root beer in I'd be in nirvana

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 15:19

SDTG, that sounds yummy! Zombie's best friend has a recipe that she swears tastes exactly like RPBCs. Zombie must ask her for the recipe.

Marshmallows...

Now Zombie is craving s'mores...

fedupofnamechanging · 12/05/2012 15:20

Oooh, as luck would have it my little brother is in California right now - think I might be sending him a shopping list.

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 15:23

Zombie probably won't be able to go state-side for about 18 months.

Visitors used to bring her Welch's Grape Jelly and Jif or Skippy PB so she could have proper PB&J sandwiches. She has learned to make do with bramble jelly instead.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/05/2012 15:39

Zombie - you can buy Welch's grape jelly online here. It's not cheap, but is cheaper than an air fare to the US.

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 15:57

Zombie normally visits www.americansoda.co.uk/uk/American-Soda/Home/default.aspx when she wants to drool over childhood foodstuffs.

Your site has better prices, SDTG. Zombie feels an online order coming on soon...

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 16:07

Who wanted Root Beer??? Check out SDTG's link.

Zombie has now found Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, Old Bay Seasoning and Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix.

Has she died and gone to heaven???

Grin Grin Grin

PatronSaintOfDucks · 12/05/2012 16:29

Does this mean we will now have Peeps for Easter? Oh please, please, please, PLEASE!!!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/05/2012 16:31

They had skippy peanut butter too, Zombie.

MissPenteuth · 12/05/2012 17:02

YY bebemoogem, I just bought some peanut butter Lindor in NY last week. They're like a more refined peanut butter cup ;) They used to do them here but I've not seen them in ages.

GingerWrath · 12/05/2012 17:47

Zombie my local Tesco stocks Kraft Mac & Cheese!

IamtheZombie · 12/05/2012 18:57

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese?

Zombie will check the 2 big Tescos locally. If she can't find any, she may get in touch with you, Ginger.

GingerWrath · 12/05/2012 19:04

Zombie it is in the Carribean section, strangely enough. I had a hotdog today, I find the Herta jumbos are almost the same as Oscar Meyer. I miss hot dog relish, and dill pickles, and graham crackers for s'mores, and decent frozen pizzas........and I have a fab recipe for ranch dip. Feel free to pm me!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/05/2012 19:11

Oohh, I love herta hotdogs, and now I want many one! But I do have the ingredients for fridge cake, so I will make that tomorrow. What time shall I expect you, Zombie?

tethersend · 12/05/2012 19:17

Holy fuck, you're right Ginger... this is life changing.
