to dream of owning a large house, so the in-laws can come and live with us?

this is a dream, obviously, we dont have the money for a big enough house to include the inlaws each in thier own bedroom....

but...

I'm sitting here looking at the property pages and imagining who would go in which bedroom, and why this or that house would or wouldnt be suitable.

I feel crazy!

Well, I almost have it! I am an only child and very close to my dad, who adores the kids. 6 years or so ago he had a mild stroke and it made me realise I wanted to be nearer (especially as he is also great for childcare!!) so we started looking in my hometown. We looked at a couple and had kinda decided on one, about 15 mins away from him, but something was just stopping me putting an offer in for it. I decided to wait until after the weekend. went to see dad that weekend, and his next door neighbour called over to announce they were putting their house on the market! Was a little bit out of our league, but dad helped, so now we live next door- perfect!

PS We still swear. And drink. And dad joins us. Just had MIL to stay for the weekend, and wish she was closer, but don't know if I could do with her living with us full-time (she doesn't drink or swear )

I live on a smal island on the south coast, but come from a large town up north. We moved here to be closer to PIL, but the only house we could afford on the island is still to far away from them to help everday in the practical way they need
