Yesterday I overheard some chap in the supermarket talking about a woman's titties and that word makes my skin crawl!

I don't like the word either. Especially when people refer to a baby having 'tittie' when it's being breastfed. Eurgh

Ewww, yes I hate the word too. Then again dd came home from school recently and asked me to show her my toby jugs. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to hide my surprise, so now she keeps saying it over and over to wind me up.

Can't say I have even heard anyone say titties. But I also don't get why people get so bothered and wound up by words. They are just that, a word which you can choose to use or not.

Hahaha, I think it's pretty funny, but if I heard some random bloke in a supermarket say it then I'd probably imagine him in his sticky arm chair, remote control in one hand and some little shriveled thing in the other. Did he have a 'tache?

Both 'titties' and 'panties' should only be said in a Scandinavian accent in a kind of Benny Hill type sketch .

I always think of it as something a really old man would say... Don't k ow why.. Just imagine younger blokes to say tits or boobs

I also hate moist. And gusset. I think perhaps it's an association of the two words together.

On the other hand, a word I love is 'indulge'.

Can I join with my pet word hates? I've got combinations. I just loath "out and about" (what's the bloody point of "about"?) and "potter about the house". Bleugh.

"Titties" actually don't bother me much. Neither do boobs, norks, etc. Don't like "breasts" though. Too many associations with chickens who are wrong on just too many levels.

It reminds me of that bar in the film From Dusk Til Dawn. Was it the Titty Twister?
