NB the raised eyebrow wasn't at the thread or indeed at the title, though there is potential to cause offence in it, it was at the OP's goading which goes against MN guidelines hence my raised eyebrows in a polite manner to remind her of them.

I obviously mis interpreted exitbyabear's selfpolicing for which apologies.

oh, I see! (re olivia's explanation) (I didn't realise the OP had had a post deleted.

Can I be deleted, Olivia? For my post about parakeets? And I have never, ever had a post deleted, in all my years on MN.

Not even when Cod had that competition where you had to accomplish various tasks including being deleted. (but then I didn't actually take part as it was obviously agaonst talk Guidelines and the Mn Philosophy)

Being parakeetist is also against our guidelines.
