Do have dyed my hair red?

I've blonde all my life, naturally when i was little, but increasingly with the help of chemicals. I've thought about going red lots of times. I went to the hairdressers this afternoon, I'd had a really bad morning with DD, and was getting annoyed with DH's parenting interference well-meaning support. Something just flipped when I got to the hairdressers, and asked her to colour my hair red. I love it, I think I look younger and it doesn't drown my skin out as much. Got home and DH hates it, apparently he's always hated this colour, although never mentioned it in previous discussions. He's sort of muttered "well. if you like it....." but has now gone off sulking.

AIBU to stick with the red? Should I be back at the hairdresser trying to get it toned down?

Grin at bogeyface

FartBlossom it's so much more fun growing old disgracefully. Besides, age is a state of mind not a number and in my mind I'm about 20 Wink which is half my chronological age
