I'm being soft of course because it's not real, but it's scary how many people are in the same position.

feralgirl · 27/04/2012 20:37

YANBU it's really bothering me atm too. The whole not being able to feed you kids thing gets to me, especially since we are beyond skint as well. Not foodbank skint, not yet anyhow, but I am terrified that we are going to get to the point where I am struggling to make decent meals for the DCs Sad

dollydoops · 27/04/2012 20:38

I cried watching it Blush

headfairy · 27/04/2012 20:38

I would be selling everything that wasn't pinned down before I took doorstep loans.

i cried

feralgirl · 27/04/2012 20:40

when I am rich and have a huge house, I am going to have a Tacky Room in which I am going to have a replica of that bar in Pat's living room. It is so vile that I actually love it.

PigeonPair · 27/04/2012 20:40

I really do think Patsy Palmer is a fantastic actress. I was in tears tonight when she was talking to Carol at the end. I will never forget the episode when Whitney told her about being abused by Bianca's boyfriend (can't remember the name). I had to watch it twice. It was an amazing piece of acting.

whitewhitewine · 27/04/2012 20:42

Why doesn't she ask Derek though? And does she know where David Wicks is? I remember him sending her a cheque for her wedding and he seemed to have money then.

whitewhitewine · 27/04/2012 20:44

Oh I really like her as well PigeonPair.

I know Janine has always been a piece of work, but it wasn't so long ago she was desperate for money was it? And they're family

TwllBach · 27/04/2012 20:45

I haven't seen tonight's episode yet, I love a good cry. I cried yesterday at her argument with carol. I love patsy palmer.

LadySybilDeChocolate · 27/04/2012 20:47

If they are going to do story lines like this, the least they can do is tell people where they can go for help in the episode, like Bianca going to the CAB. It's wrong of them to show situations like this without showing a constructive and accurate way of seeking help.

greenplastictrees · 27/04/2012 20:47

It was really sad. I cried. I think it's the fact that I can understand how things money related can get so bad that people would do things out of desperation. Very sad!:(

headfairy · 27/04/2012 20:47

I loved her wedding pictures last week, so nice to see someone taking time out to spend with their family.

Glad i'm not the only one who cried! Don't know if Uncle Derek's the right one to ask for money though Puffykins, i still don't know what his most heinous crime he was in prison for was?

porcamiseria · 27/04/2012 20:48

it was sad

bringmesunshine2009 · 27/04/2012 20:49

Made me feel sick, reminds me too much of our our own hand to mouth existence.

Ian "you should sell your telly" Beale reminded me of MN though haha

headfairy · 27/04/2012 20:49

Agreed LadyS the beeb has a bloody action line number if a kitten has been hurt in an episode ("If you've been affected by the issues in this programme... blah blah blah) but nothing after this one which is much more likely to resonate with people.

Mrsjay · 27/04/2012 20:49

I must admit i cried and of course in real life Bianca would be getting tax credits but it was sad poor Bianca maybe somebody needs to direct her to the nearest benefit office , saying all that i do know people who go to companies like the one she went to Its a horrible cycle to get into , Sad

HateBeingCantDoUpMyJeans · 27/04/2012 20:51

So glad I wasn't alone blubbing, those two together always do amazing high dramatic storylines.

Mrsjay · 27/04/2012 20:51

AH I SEE OK i must have missed the thingwith the housing benefit with the evil one , oh now it makes sense , poor Bianca Sad

LadySybilDeChocolate · 27/04/2012 20:51

There is a lot of people out there who are struggling, it would be helpful to them for 'Bianca' to show the ways of getting support. The action line number comes too late as they have already petrified people. It is made up but how many people take it seriously?

Mrsjay · 27/04/2012 20:53

Yes i did sort of when squealie said sell your telly and Bianca says BUT EVERYBODY has a telly , It did remind me of some posters ,

HateBeingCantDoUpMyJeans · 27/04/2012 20:54

Those photos are fab, but wish I hadn't looked it say carol is going for a bit too Shock

bringmesunshine2009 · 27/04/2012 20:55

Mrsjay I was waiting for him to start questioning her mobile and broadband usage Grin
