OK, its not the big question of the year!

but its annoying me, cheap nail polish chipping off, and its spoiling my fun

should I buy something expensive?

Barry M is excellent and L'oreal and Maybelline are pretty good and don't cost much.

Hello Kitty nail polish is the work of the devil - it rubs off ffs. Even my three year has realised that is extremely shit.

I've always bought certain brands of Nail varnish, but never Revlon. Was super happy to find Revlon NV in £land (for £1!) and so stocked up. Got home and it was the shittest of all shit nail varnishes, needed about 1,000,000 coats - was so gutted and gathered that Revlon must just be crap. Then got a Revlon NV gift set for Xmas and it is lovely stuff - I guess £land must water it down!

Accessorise nail polish (yes I know, it matched my dress) came out in strings, awful stuff!!

I agree, Seche Vite is the best top coat, you can get it for about £6 on ebay or QVC sometimes do a good value duo pack ( you can also utilise their 30 day money back guarentee if you don't like it)

Try some A-England.

I'm sick of my nail polish chipping off so bought some Sally Hansen top coat today. Am hoping it does the trick. If not I'll be trying the Barry M one mentioned here!

Champneys and Barry m seem to last best on me. The champneys top coat is really good.
