to think my wife is using cruel and unusual punishment...

to think my wife is using cruel and unusual punishment to drive me to get off my arse and do something today?

Little House on the Prairie with the threat of Touched by an Angel later.

I do have a case for throwing Ranty out and having her arrested for Human Rights' abuses, don't I?

Could be worse, she could of threatened youwith True Life Movies.

TheRhubarb · 21/04/2012 14:00

My dh has just got himself a chainsaw - he's very excited.

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:03

There are extended adverts for True Life Movies every few minutes. We're too up to date on Sky Plus with only the likes of Dexter, True Blood and Game of Thrones to watch... not really suitable for while the kids are around.

is she playing dido in the background and threatening to have a friends evening too? that would be abuse

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:04

No How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and Cougar Town have weaned her off Friends.

TheRhubarb · 21/04/2012 14:05

Why did I read that as dildo I wonder?

Scowlett · 21/04/2012 14:08

Rhubarb you are doomed. Doomed, I tell ye.

Anyway MNhubbie go with it. The signs are favourable and they will guide you \shite mode off\

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:09

I had to read twice. I wouldn't have been moaning if I had read that right.

OP posts:
FreudianSlipper · 21/04/2012 14:10

then you have nothing to moan about

mmm one wonders why she called herself that

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:10

I can't take much more...

I'm getting up and making myself some Brunch.

TheRhubarb · 21/04/2012 14:13

Oooh, now he's chainsawing wood and everything! Still think he needs the mask though, you know, the proper creepy mask.
And perhaps him sawing the wood on our dining chairs isn't such a great idea.

I think I might take a First Aid course.

trikken · 21/04/2012 14:18

I used to love little house on the prarie, havent seen it for years though. Enjoy!

BeaOnSea · 21/04/2012 14:22

OP - You give in too easily Grin

You should have rubbed your hands together in delight and said "Ooh goody, my favourite".

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:26

No She is actually watching it !!!

And enjoying it.

You think you know someone and then something like this comes up.

It is disgusting and I feel dirty.

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:27

I mean it could have been BDSM, bisexuality or even a clown fetish but no... when she decides to be perverse she has to draw the line then take a fast jet to fly as far past it as she can...

HecateTrivia · 21/04/2012 14:46

It's grounds for divorce, frankly.

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 14:49

btw i read dildo too... been a long day i think

AutumnSummers · 21/04/2012 18:03

YANBU. The older shows that are even worth watching are Columbo, Dr Quinn, Diagnosis Murder, Perry Mason, Murder She Wrote, Taxi,, land of the Giants, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Doctor who. I am sure I could add a few more. But your Dw's choices would bore me into into a Disney-like slumber.

AutumnSummers · 21/04/2012 18:04

I've yet to get DH to watch OBEM with me. I'll never be able to get him drunk enough.

ChaoticAngel · 21/04/2012 18:09

Well if your wife was trying to drive you to do something it's not worked very well has it? Unless she was planning to drive you to mning Wink

My dd bought the first series of Murder She Wrote on dvd the other day.

warmandwooly · 21/04/2012 18:21
