Is it true that it is illegal to take away and eat your own splats, but ok to eat other peoples? Lots of pheasant splats around here.

AngelWreakinHavoc · 18/04/2012 11:42

What is going on With mumsnet this morning?

TheRhubarb · 18/04/2012 11:43

You can take away and eat any splat you like. If you run over a deer you are more than entitled to take it to your local butcher and flog it. Just don't do it too often Wink

HotPinkWeaselWearingLederhosen · 18/04/2012 11:44

i posted cause it can get a bit full on and fighty in aibu. i have had some very good advice on mn.

as for the road kill, just imagine all the tarmac you would need to remove first like a graised child's knee too much faff,

hitting a deer would ne almost impossible too there way to quick.
