currently 37 weeks.. am really not sure how i will manage until my due date.. I've been averaging 3-4 hours sleep during the night for the past week or so, I can't get comfortable in any position, I am actually scared of going to sleep sometimes because i've woken myself up several times by nearly being sick due to acid reflux (am i going to choke to death? Confused ) - i get painful heartburn (no burning sensation just pain - i find it similar to the gallstone attacks i used to get). My back is absolutely killing me and my pelvis is very very painful, I'm shattered all the time due to lack of sleep and to top it all off i'm mostly home alone all day as my husband works full time.. It's my first pregnancy and i am very much looking forward to being a mum i just hate not having any control over my own body and how i feel!
i'm sure a lot of women get fed up with late pregnancy i just feel like it's hit me all at once after 2 uneventful trimesters... It's karma isn't it...
rant over...

The mention of the dark wee also makes me think you need to be seen...

Any headaches?

I second differentnameforthis advice. The dark wee would concern me too. I'd advise you push to be seen and checked out. Much better to be safe than sorry.

I can't do much more than ring the same ward though, she said because it only happened once (the dark wee) and it's been fine since, she checked with the doctors on the ward and they don't think it's necessary for me to be seen and if i have any concerns ring my gp. I haven't had the severe pain for a couple of days but if i do get it again and it doesn't go away with heartburn meds i will ring them. She did ask lots of questions - if baby was moving, have i had any headaches, etc. Next time i will jsut try my midwife, i had to ring labour ward as no one else was answering on friday.
