to think that liquid soaps should be in a proper, non branded dispenser in people's bathrooms?

I find it so rude that this "advertising" is thrown at me whilst visiting other people's "conveniences". If one buys a particular brand, why should I be faced with it in one's cloakroom. AIBU? I think not.

cheesesarnie · 01/04/2012 21:48

LoopyLoopsIsTentativelyBack · 01/04/2012 23:26

Into what vessel may it be decanted?

Tranquilidade · 01/04/2012 23:27

I have a friend who decants Bayliss and Harding into a Molton Brown bottle. Does that count?

TalcAndTurnips · 01/04/2012 23:28

I have already used the new Karcher squeegee vac to mop up the worst of it, thanks.

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 23:28

Oh, marmite jars, takeaway boxes, anything really. Long as it doesn't say "toothpaste" or "plaque".

Still advertising Tranquil. Plain is best. Prevents the grunts feeling inferior when not serving champagne and caviar. (I simply REFUSE to pay for such breaks in my non-branded loo)

Oh, never say loo btw. I have slapped my hand accordingly.

OP posts:
fussbucket · 01/04/2012 23:37

Why not loo? Anything's better than toilet. Although bog and khazi are possibly a little too crude.

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 23:41

It's the "laydeees" or "I'm going to powder my nose". Of course the poshest amongst us simply say "I'm going for a wee". I think it's the middle class throwback in me that objects to that, however.

OP posts:
cheesesarnie · 01/04/2012 23:44

i cant make myself say loo
