to think that liquid soaps should be in a proper, non branded dispenser in people's bathrooms?

I find it so rude that this "advertising" is thrown at me whilst visiting other people's "conveniences". If one buys a particular brand, why should I be faced with it in one's cloakroom. AIBU? I think not.

If it's cheap stuff it goes in the dispenser, if someone has been silly kind enough to buy me Molton Brown, it's just courteous to display the ridiculously over priced (but heavenly smelling) bottle.

OhBuggerandArse · 01/04/2012 21:16

All liquid soap is naff, actually, whatever the container.

As is poncy scented soap, however posh.

Pears or Wrights Coal Tar are the only truly U options.

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 21:17

How is this relevant, Talc?

Great April Fools joke Grin

JasperJohns · 01/04/2012 21:18

I have L'Occitane in the dispenser. I now realise people think it's Fairy Liquid.

Stratters · 01/04/2012 21:19

How is this relevant, Talc?

We're just trying to save you from making a complete tit of yourself when you complain about the L'Occitane in it's original packaging.

Grin
TalcAndTurnips · 01/04/2012 21:19

Crikey Crystal - don't think I could ever be accused of being relevant Grin

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 21:19

It appears that I am being mocked, as I have received two biscuits. How can you not appreciate the importance of this matter?

Stratters · 01/04/2012 21:20

Or indeed reverent, Talc. Grin

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 21:21

Stratters - I would never make a "tit" of myself. It's simply not in me.

Aw c'mon Crystal. It's the Easter hols an all us teenage layabouts have nothing better to do.

You'd hate my bathroom - there's a Pecksniffs hand soap and nice smelly hand cream. It were reet cheap in TKMaxx.

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 21:25

Pecksniffs?

Anyway, MystalCraze - I have a sneaking feeling that you're someone else in disguise.

Like that film The Day of the Jackal. All that faffing about dressing up and he still missed shooting De Gaulle.

KateSpade · 01/04/2012 21:29

Aww, as if its an April fools,

Totally got sucked in, i hate April Fools day!

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 21:32

Talc, I am me. Always have been. If you can't appreciate my disgust about liquid soap, you may at least acknowledge my superiority in terms of advertising.

cheesesarnie · 01/04/2012 21:34

my maid has a lever on her back, push it and the soap comes out off her mouth.

saw it at gwens house recently, simply had to have one!

Stratters · 01/04/2012 21:37

Can't be an April Fool, it's after noon.

TalcAndTurnips · 01/04/2012 21:38

cheese - that sounds like something out of The Exorcist - especially if the soap was green Confused

Voidka · 01/04/2012 21:38

I love my Molton Brown handwash
When my poor friends come over I get it out to show them how much better than them I am
Hmm :o

CrystalMaize · 01/04/2012 21:40

Gah! Been rumbled! Thanks for playing along. I know it's after noon, have been busy in the garden. Couldn't give a flying fcuk about liquid soap Grin

It's for threads like this that MN gets a bad reputation.
