To be really pissed off with my friends?

It is my birthday on Saturday and I have tried to arrange a curry night for my friends and I and one by on ethey are dropping out. I am particularly upset with one friend who promised that she would go to a spa day with me but now she has her period and can't (fair enough) but now she can't come out for the meal either as she is staying at her abusive on-off boyfriend's house. Some friends havn't even got back to me.

Looks like I don't have any friends then. Sad

I'm an Aries too and never seem to have great birthdays either Hmm

Also, it always fell in the Easter holidays at school which isn't always the best for parties! Grin

toptrump some friends are just rubbish aren't they

QuietNinjaTattoo · 30/03/2012 13:27

Loving this @Grin@ it's my 30th this year, in 12 days. So happy birthday to me and all my fellow ariens. I've already had my birthday present from dh so not expecting anything else but am going out for drinks next say with my mates. So long as dh and my best girls are there then that'll do me. Oh and dh's birthday is 3 days after mine but have told him the focus is on me this year as I am 30 and getting on a bit and need to feel special for once and he is not.

This week I have.........
been cancelled on by my sister [ no card either]
Have tickets for Florence and the machine tue and all but one of my friends has let me down........
Was sent a birthday card by my brother describing residents of a 'mental unit'.My son is in a psychiatric unit [ age 14]
I know it sounds pathetic but why do I always feel shat on..........

I may eat the rest of my birthday cake with a fork in a minute just to spite the children............... who lost my card................

Dozer · 31/03/2012 07:59

Oh dear Aries people.

My mum is an aries. She once felt so let-down by us - we were about 12 and 10 - and dad on her birthday (no gifts, card, dad had given her a crappy gift in plastic bag) she had a proper bawl and told us off, stormed off in tears. We felt awful and have never made the same mistake again!

My daughter is also an aries, this year asked for a big party, she got more and more sad as guests left and wanted the party to continue all day.
