I like that some of them still open doors for me

I like that my DP obsesses over the log burner and keeps my tootsies toastie warm - i just do not have the firelighting gene and will FREEZE until he gets home from work if it is cold and i refuse to put the heating on.

I like having conversations with a little bit of harmless flirtation

I find that some men are actually bitchier than women and this amuses me

Actually, i can't really think of any solid reason why i like men - but they are delicious creatures really, aren't they.

I like men because although I don't understand them a lot of the time, I'm also not supposed to... I like women too but because I'm supposed to get them as I am one it makes things tricksier.

Couldn't do without the sex with a man who can :o , the security and the practical ability around the house!

bob I've been meaning to start a thread about pirates! They are criminals at sea! We don't celebrate burgulars or muggers..

Also, they aren't even historical...they ate still kidnapping and mudering today. Many terrorist organisations are funded by piracy. It's really odd that schools talk about pirates so much innit?

I like men on average as much as I like women.

Depending on my mood that could be a lot or a little.

It also depends on whether they have posted a thread in AIBU when they are not really asking if they are being unreasonable...

Thats the thing though isnt it Trills before i came to mumsnet, I would have uttered the words "AIBU" as a form of sarcasm when i KNOW im not being unreasonable!

I love my DP. He is a great dad to our DCs, a genuinely lovely man who gives wonderful cuddles and there is no one in the world I'd rather be with (other than maybe Jon Bon Jovi....). I love waking up next to him. :)

I love my DS, he also gives amazing cuddles and likes making fairy cakes with me.

I love my BIL who is a bit of a tit at times (in a mostly funny way), but adores my DCs as much as I do.

I miss my dad, and he had his troubles, but he wasn't a bad man at all, and I certainly did not dislike him. He was kind to animals and a nice person underneath it all.

I do love my FIL. Aside from MIL, he is the funniest drunk person I know and has been so kind and generous and is the reason DP and I have our lovely little home.

I love the men in my life. No man hating from here. :)

I like the way he makes me smile and giggle and the way we just chatted.

I used to love being one of the two girls within a group of about 20 boys some a few years older, i felt safe and we loved being centre of attention.

And i love it when they say they fancy me!

I love men because I am surrounded by only the good ones. I can honestly say that I am proud of the men in my family and my male friends. They are all great friends, husbands and fathers. I love them all :o

There are some men who are shits but I don't have them in my life - anymore than I hang around with any female shits. Life is too short :o

I like my big grown-up DSs, who give me hugs, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and spaghetti bolognaise, mastermind the shopping, and occasionally even do the washing up.

As for non-related men, I'm not into sex at all these days but I still approve of men being sexy, in a sort of detached way. Some of them are quite decorative.

I like men because some of them are good 'uns, and it gives me hope that one day I might meet one of them for myself :D
