I am in Bahrain, my sons go to a British style school here. My eldest has been at the school for seven years. I think the school is fantastic .Having spoken to friends who have left Bahrain for other countries in the region, Dubai, for example, there is no other school as good.
The school has just had the Ofsted inspectors in, who all said t was the best school they had ever visited. I think although we pay a lot in fees, for the equivalent in the Uk , we would pay a lot more. My son is no academic high flyer, but am fairly confidant if we ad to return to the Uk, he would be streaks ahead.

We were at St C before Dubai. I?m sure the academics are on par with UK state schools but honestly the private schools here are way ahead of the ME private equivalents
