... should be taken out of the gene pool?

Then there'd be all those lovely resources left for intelligent people who can spell, who know grammar, can count, can think clearly. Has the added bonus of improving the human race, as more intelligent babies will be born and the dumb schmucks won't be able to reproduce.

Well done fortyplus have a Wine I meant imbibe meaning to absorb knowledge.

Forgive me for my thickness for I have banged my poor epilepstic head too many times over the years. You can shoot me now but allow me one last Brew before you do. Grin

It is a shame that intelligence isn't valued more in society though. Anyone remember the TV show Sliders? I remember an episode where the alternative reality was a world where intelligence was prized and the competitors in a maths competition were paid and treated like footballers!

I nominate Frontpaw to have the gun, as the only one who thought about who would wield it.

However, I think BigGirl should be allowed one too, as she shot me early on. so obviously has one anyway so we have to be nice to her

It is a joke, bur sometimes I'd quite like to smack tut at BIL for putting things like 'use are all proper tite. Use shud of give me a lift' on his FB status. And, no, he's not just using shorthand/slang. I often wonder if DH is adopted.
