very very cross, the girl is pregnant, stressful enough, she is working with a small child, stressful. She has been caught out so we feel the need to make her go on this morning and answer her crimes... get chucked out of a shit competition because of it- don't even start me on natasha giggs wtf, clearly banging your husbands brother is ok, smoking is not. Poor girl, I feel disgusted that she was made to feel like such a villan.

Blimey, you should have seen the reaction on the other thread when I pointed out how many overweight pregnant Mums are putting their babies at just as much possible risk as the smokers Lol!

Everyone judges, I think that's a fact of life.

However, who we judge and what we judge can often be ironic when we take a proper look at ourselves.

YANBU. I quite like her, and watching her on This Morning I felt so sorry for her. Of course smoking when pregnant is not ok, but she made a mistake, everyone has made a mistake at some point in their life. It just so happens that she's young female and pregnant so the press feel justified in vilifying her. She comes across as very genuine, certainly a better mother than that bloody crack head Kerry Katona who has a new husband every 5 minutes.

Apparently she rang the Loose Women show yesterday to say she quite catagorically didn't say that.

It's that part of the whole story I have issue with. It's repeated by women all over the place and I do wonder in reality how often women are actually told that or have they just heard it that often they think it applies to them?

I don't usually watch loose women but for some reason it was on when I came back into the livingroom and they were talking to her on the phone, she said the doctor had told her it was better for the baby if she quit

Agree 100% OP. I think everyone should just sod off and leave her alone. And the paper should be ashamed of themselves for printing those photos - it's in absolutely no-one's interest for this story to be out there. Poor girl.

I don't think smoking while pregnant is a mistake. She is fully aware of what she is doing and the implications of it.

If you are in the public eye you have to accept that your actions will be criticised by the media. Lots of young women look-up to her so it's right that she is being criticised for smoking. Smoking is very harmful to unborn babies and young children.

YANBU. It's not something I condone but z list celebrity or not, she's still a human being who knows what she is doing is wrong, is trying her best to stop and needs support and encouragement not condemnation. Her stress levels must be through the roof already, I felt sorry for her. She's not brazen about it,not defending it, she's honest, upset and remorseful.

But WE don't feel the need to make her go on This Morning - she does. No-one made her go OP, it was her choice...

Because she comes across as this itzy ditzy girl next door type, everyone feels that she shouldn't be criticised.

Sorry I think exposing an unborn baby to smoke,chemicals and toxins is highly selfish and appalling to be frank.

I just don't get the mentality.If you don't think you can get through 9 months without smoking don't get pg and wait until you can.

I felt really sorry for her that she felt she had to go on and put herself through that m 3 fags a day at max , I bet there is more car fumes she looked like she was scared people were going to string her up and take her baby at birth , I hope she manages to stop though as smoking is vile ,
