To ring the council and ask them to deal with this

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 09:12

Some c**t has kindly allowed their dog to shit on the corner outside our house- a route commonly used by kids going to school/oldies on their merry way. I cant bring myself to move someone elses dogs shit nor should I have to but I dont want it sat outside the house being trod in and walked all around the neighbourhood. WIBU to ring the council and ask them to sort this environmental health risk as tbh im fucking fuming

I do not believe the poo has been removed, I think the op is just saying that to save face.

WorraLiberty · 05/03/2012 18:04

I remember reading about Councils spraying dog turds orange, but that's all they do is spray the turd so people can see it more easily...they don't pick up the mess as far as I know.

I might get onto my Council and complain the OP's council are 'shit hot' so why isn't mine? Grin

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 18:16

Ahh now im lying as well as mentally ill. Honestly ridiculous.

redlac · 05/03/2012 18:21

Is there a website where we can compare Poo Uplift waiting times?

Gribble · 05/03/2012 18:28

Op I dare you to complain tomorrw that a vandal has sprayed an orange tag outside your house

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 18:29

What is this orange spray I hope it is not toxic to any dog that should lick it.

Also I hope that if a child walks on it it is not sticky or leave a stain..........

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 18:34

I don't like to call anyone a liar. I think it's a bit harsh. But....

funnily enough I was sharing this tale with some friends earlier and we actually said that you would post back with news of the council arriving and clearing it up - in an attempt to prove you were right so to speak.
Probably nothing more than coincidence?

Can I call you a liar? argghh I dunno. Maybe ask if your pants are on fire?

If indeed you tell the truth, I would seriously like to know which council dealt with this. Such prompt action needs to be shared with other councils. My council have never dealt with anything so efficiently (that I know of) (and I have had a lot of dealings with the council over the many years - from both sides of the fence)
I would really like to contact my local council with these details and suggest they follow your council's example. Would you be kind enough to share the details?

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 18:39

I also think the council should be named and then maybe mumsnet could give them an award or something.

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 18:41

Why should I be forced to reveal where I live so people believe me? I couldn't care less tbph what a shit stirring troll on mumsnet thinks

OP posts:
iamme43 · 05/03/2012 18:42

But you do care less honey because you asked the question in the first place.

I know it was many hours ago but surely you remember.

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 18:44

And I'm so glad that l am so exciting to you six that you feel the need to discuss this with your friends outside mumsnet!
Seems whatever I say I can't win if I'd have posted and said it hadn't been moved I'd have been called lazy selfish etc etc for not moving it myself

TidyDancer · 05/03/2012 18:47

Woah. The anger on this thread! Over shit!

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 18:47

You should of moved it this morning.

Will you ring again if the dog goes on the same walk tomorrow and the day after that.

And I would not call you exciting other words come to mind.

blushingcrow · 05/03/2012 18:47

This thread is hilarious Grin

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 18:50

And why shouldn't I ring again if it happens again? Why should it be my responsibility? See my earlier reply to you- knucklehead

OP posts:
sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 18:52

Don't get so upset OP. The thread was funny enough to share that's all :)

I wasn't asking you to say where you live as such, just the name of the council. If you were to say Liverpool Council for example, anyone reading this would still have no idea of where you live.

anyway.....

This pattern is one of the oldest on the net, and trust me I've seen more extreme examples over the years! Although it amuses me I really do wish you wouldn't get so upset about it.

blushingcrow · 05/03/2012 18:52

Oh go troll somewhere else ,EauDeLaPoisson ,you are boring as fuck tbh .

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 18:54

Blushing you are a shit troll hunter don't give up the day job- hth Smile

OP posts:
iamme43 · 05/03/2012 18:54

I agree your council deserves a pat on the back.

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 18:56

What 'pattern' is that then six? Someone reporting something and it getting dealt with? Yes very odd isn't it

OP posts:
sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 19:07

The pattern?

I have been on discussion groups before forums arrived. Some email groups still exist. The PC gives people a false sense of security I guess and they say things or make claims they wouldn't in real life. When challenged or outed they go to great lengths to to prove that what they say is true. All they do is dig themselves deeper. When they still cannot convince others that they are right or did see a hippo in Tesco, or do drive the original Starsky & Hutch car, they get angry and, start name calling, accuse others of wrong doings, and then eventually go off in a huff.

Just as there is a pattern on AIBU, and on Benefit cheat threads etc there is a pattern on forums in general.

Although I admit to finding it all amusing I mean it when I say I wish you didn't get so upset. I always remember that behind the words is a real person.

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 19:10

Don't flatter yourself six you couldn't upset me if you tried

OP posts:
sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 19:14

Don't flatter yourself six you couldn't upset me if you tried

Good :)
and I'm not actually trying to upset you.

Oh, and stop the name calling now eh?

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 19:16

Where have I called you a name?

OP posts:
GrahamTribe · 05/03/2012 19:17

This is a joke thread, right?
