Polgara2 · 04/03/2012 23:11

Can't have Wine tho am falling asleep already (have to keep reading things twice Blush)

BellaVita · 05/03/2012 07:02

Thank god for that! I was beginning to get a complex Grin. Liam Gallagher's mum? Shock.

CuttedUpPear - your go girl Wink

PrincessMeehan · 05/03/2012 08:33

CuttedUpPear - good for you! I just seem to add something on a thread and then no-one ever goes on it again!

How are everyone's heads this morning after the wine, chocolate, biscuits and toffees?

CuttedUpPear · 05/03/2012 08:43

Hello PrincessMeehan I know exactly what you mean about no one ever posting on threads after me. When I look at my 'Threads I'm on' page most of them end at my contribution.

Do you think we have the tumbleweed effect or it's just that we have summed up the argument and its conclusion so succinctly, that no one feels the need to comment any further ?

PrincessMeehan · 05/03/2012 08:50

haha i will go with the fact we have summed it up so well that no-one needs to add anything, is a bit dishearteneing which is why i'm glad I saw this thread yesterday.
At least I can have a bit of a laugh on here, the other threads i seem to follow are all far to serious for me!

CuttedUpPear · 05/03/2012 08:56

My score of deaded threads is way higher than those still active after I'd commented....
When I see that thread killing thread I used to think "Oh yes; I'm glad other people experience the Touch of Death to threads". But I was wrong. They are talking about filling them up til they reach a thousand and go poof.

Me and PrincessMeehan would go there and it would shrivel within moments.

Sad Grin

PrincessMeehan · 05/03/2012 09:01

CuttedUpPear glad i have found a fellow thread killer! yay!
I started a thread yesterday which is already dead so i know I'm playing my part

LizJonesStolenSperm · 05/03/2012 09:07

I think these type of fawning ass-kiss threads "OMG so n so is my HERO"
Just compounds the clique feeling to MN and activly prevents many people from contributing to things, I too feel largly overlooked on the rare occations i do post, anyways whinge over Grin

CuttedUpPear · 05/03/2012 09:08
Grin
ssd · 05/03/2012 09:11

have been here for a million years, never made it onto any list Grin

bit early for Wine so pass the Brew

adamschic · 05/03/2012 09:45

I didn't think what I said was that bad Grin. Seriously, I do wonder how some people have the time to get involved all day, even if you are at home for one reason or another. The internet can be a massive timewaster, I find.

Anyway, better get back to work.

GinSlinger · 05/03/2012 09:51

I never get mentioned and I bet this thread goes bang now.

I suppose I ought to post more and then I'd be mentioned all the time. Forever.

I think judging why anyone does anything all day is pretty mean spirited and shows a slight lack of imagination. I am not sure pointing that out is bad either

Pagwatch · 05/03/2012 09:57

Yep Maryz. I think i recognise more names on here than on the other thread. And Everlong is named on the other thread and tried to sneak in here unnoticed.

Grin
GhastlyBespoke · 05/03/2012 10:00

Alright, calm down, I've arrived to kill this thread. You can all move on now. Nothing to see.

I've just name changed after aaaages and I never got mentioned in my last name. That says A LOT about me I fear.

well said hecate: Yeah, but mumsnet royalty isn't exactly what you'd call a complement, is it? At best it means sad bastard who spends all day every day on here

exactly!!!!!! EXACTLY!!!!!!

Pagwatch · 05/03/2012 10:06

All the best cliques arise out of threads like this. And fav mumsnetter threads always pop up after a flood of trolls or upsetting threads. Mn always gets a bit naval gazey after shit weeks.

It is indeed only the www.

YES! Maryz that is an excellent way of thinking of it.

Well in which case I am off across MN killing threads with gay abandon and loving itGrin woe betide anyone who posts after me.
