Yes sorry I did change my name to ClumsyClogs for a bit
That's allowed, no? I suppose I felt a bit exposed talking about DP.
Sorry if it confused anyone

MardyBra · 28/02/2012 16:10

Ok, I guess I'd better stop winding you up deliberately and say thanks for the responses.

It was a serious question too, and I've also been known to kill my own threads because I didn't want responses to be left unacknowledged.

Yes, I do the killing my own thread for fear of seeming ungrateful thing too. And you're right - it's so bloody rude to ask a specific question and then just bugger off into the sunset. I've been wanting to leave it a couple of days and then PM them with a "you're welcome - really, don't mention it. It was nothing" type thing, but that would be childish and mean so I won't.

I don't like it when other drivers don't do the little hand wavy thing when I let them out of a junction or into a gap either.

OP posts:
Boomerwang · 28/02/2012 16:22

I hope I'm not guilty of such. I have posted threads asking for information and have given my thanks when I get help. Perhaps some of the posters aren't used to the site and don't know about the 'I'm on' link and their thread has gotten lost.

I have to admit if I hold a door open for someone or help out with a pushchair and don't get even a look of gratitude much less a verbal acknowledgement, I get a bit miffed.

OriginalJamie · 28/02/2012 16:25

I don't like it when you hold the door open for someone and they don't say thankyou

I'm going to have to finish this thread off tidily in the end, aren't I?

I once had a thread that everyone misunderstood and I was willing it to die. And a load of MNers piled in and kept bumping it on purpose. Bastards.

MardyBra · 28/02/2012 16:58

Can't remember who it was. Was probably Maryz.
