Yes, Velveteen Rabbit! Sheesh, was a mess reading it.

Also brought 3 nieces to The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde (i think) in the theatre some years ago. Gave me a pain in my heart (metaphorically speaking). Heartbreaking, literally. Thank goodness it was dark in the theatre.

The nieces, by the by, she'd not a tear. I've read the story (little prince) while alone, so there was no rein on my tears. I was a mess.
