To fancy Alan Rickman?

I'm 23 and DP thinks I'm strange that I only really fancy older men celeb wise.

I also fancy Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, David Boreanaz and Leonardo DiCaprio. I know they're all mid thirties plus but men just get better with age imo.

Love him! Favourite AR quote of all time:
"locksley, I'm going to cut your heart out with a spoon!" love it!!

Marshy · 26/02/2012 21:33

Anyone seen the Family Guy sketch? The voice is very distinctive....

SnapesMistress · 26/02/2012 21:36

Right

You can knob off all of you's, HE'S mine, alright?

Always has been, always will be, ner (sticks out Tongue)

HardCheese · 26/02/2012 23:20

I used to fancy him (even when he had that revolting moustache in Truly Madly Deeply aeons ago) and then I met him about five or six years back at a charity acting thingie I was involved in, and I thought he was monumentally unpleasant, spiteful and affected. Which put a bit of a crimp in my libido where he was concerned.

So, I would say to whoever wins the 'let's fight over AR' contest - keep him in your bedroom tied to a chair, fine - but don't let him talk, or it'll spoil everything. Smile

PurpleRomanesco · 26/02/2012 23:24

What did he say/do to make you think that!? Tell me more.

McHappyPants2012 · 26/02/2012 23:27

i am 26 and there is something about him

scaryteacher · 26/02/2012 23:33

I've fancied him for 33 years since I saw him as Obadiah Scrope in Barchester Chronicles - so as I win, and he's mine.

Loved him in Blow Dry.

PrincessFiorimonde · 27/02/2012 00:10

I saw him on the stage in Les Liaisons Dangeureses - about 26, 27 years ago, I think.* Have lusted after loved him ever since.

*Eek! That's before some of you were born.

southeastastra · 27/02/2012 00:27

WandaDoff · 27/02/2012 00:29

MMmmmmm Alan Rickman ...

pluckingupcourage · 27/02/2012 00:35

I have to confess to encouraging DCs to watch Potter films when I am in need of a moody Snape moment.

I've had a Rickman crush since truly madly deeply. Looks destined to be unrequited forever, sigh.

Forrestgump · 27/02/2012 00:41

I've seen her letters, and pictures, so I believe mums cousin, Unsure about my friends aunty or southeast!!

WandaDoff · 27/02/2012 00:49

I've just been watching the texas video linked to upthread.

She's a right jammy cunt that Sharlene Spiteri isn't she Envy.

WandaDoff · 27/02/2012 00:52

I bet that video was her idea. JAMMY CUNT.

Francagoestohollywood · 27/02/2012 08:41

Lets face it, he should have won the oscar as Snape...

alessthandomesticgoddess · 27/02/2012 08:48

I completely agree. How that man doesn't have an Oscar is beyond me. Criminal.

OP posts:
FlangelinaBallerina · 27/02/2012 08:52

It was her idea! The director of the video apparently asked her if there was anyone she particularly wanted to work with, and the crafty fucker suggested Our Alan.

WandaDoff · 27/02/2012 08:55

You can tell.

She's practically winking at the camera.

Scholes34 · 27/02/2012 09:50

Actually, he's really mine. I once met him at a private drinks do (post Robin Hood and Truly, Madly, Deeply, pre-Harry Potter). I was there with friends of friends and I'd misheard someone announce his arrival in the room and found myself looking round for Alan Whicker. When this news reached the host of the party, I was dragged over to Mr Rickman who was told I'd mistaken him for Alan Whicker. He was charm personified. He talked to me and to me only for about ten minutes before moving on, and when he left later in the evening, he caught my eye across the crowed room and waved goodbye. Ooh, thinking of this has brought me over all unnecessary.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 27/02/2012 09:56

I don't get it; sorry. His voice sounds muddy and adenoidal to me, and his habitual facial expression seems to be disappointment/disdain.
