Wear whatever is most comfortable and makes you feel powerful. At DDs school, I imagine the teachers would like to see some clothing that isn't denim skirt, thick tights and uggs.

I am chair of a scohol governing body and regularly turn up to meetings in leggings, though black not purple! Teach your DD the joys o non-conformity now and keep them on

Am taken aback that so many people think what you wear will have significant effect on your meeting in school about your daughter???? Unless I've misunderstood - the meeting is not about you - wear what you are comfortable in and good luck!

I do wear skirts over the top.

My mother used to only wear purple. My dad hated it and I had to say something to her as well.
