This one

This is no stealth boast - unless we win 100million we can't afford it - we live in a fairly normal 3 bed semi - its just property porn....

BUT I think my children are so beautiful that the current owners should GIVE me the house as some sort of right....

My children were all born and raised in Aberdeen so they are well hardy and used to be being kitted out like they are trekking to the arctic - I think they could frolic happily in all weathers...

Much prefer the garden of the first one.

Bathsheba · 09/02/2012 13:01

They wouldn;t even have to change schools really...

The telephone lines right in front of the house are awfully ugly in that one keecher...

And no inside shots...

This one is causing much hilarity amongst my friends...

I don't even need to click on the link to know that is going to be the one in Kingswells isn't it?

Bathsheba · 09/02/2012 16:21

It is.... It looks lovely from the outside.....

I know it is such a lovely house but it looks like they have gone into shops and bought the whole range of matching items and chucked them all into one room rather than be a little more subtle and have a few key pieces.
I quite fancy Kingswells actually but that house would need a lot of redecorating for me although I'm sure dd would adore all the pink.

Bathsheba · 09/02/2012 16:25

DD2 wants her bedroom to be COMPLETELY like the pink bedroom....every single thing in it.....!!

dikkertjedap · 09/02/2012 16:27

Have you looked at the dimensions of the bedrooms? There are only two decent sized bedrooms, the others are more like boxrooms. You pay a lot for an old house, massive upkeep, hard to heat no doubt. You can only enjoy the gardens when it is half decent weather, rest of the time you will be indoors in a cold house .... I think you are lucky you can't afford it, hugely overpriced IMO.

RedBlanket · 09/02/2012 16:29

They really do commit to their colour scheme.

Can I come and use the study to do my coursework please?

Sidge · 09/02/2012 16:35

I don't particularly like the Friendville mansion house.

Am I the only one?

Bathsheba · 09/02/2012 16:36

It does sound like a website that my 8 year old would want to go on and play games...

SoupDragon · 09/02/2012 16:43

N0, Sidge, I don't like it much either. I would want to rip out all the wood panelling (well, I wouldn't because that would be sacrilege but I think it looks dark, oppressing and not very homely)

Sidge · 09/02/2012 17:25

I thought I was a weirdo because everyone seemed to love it!

I don't like the wood panelling, the annexe house is very close to the main house (if I'm spending 2.75 mill on a place I don't want anyone in my garden) and it just doesn't look terribly inviting. I like a curl-up-on-the-sofa-in-your-PJs sort of house which that just isn't.

I quite like this one

MatureUniStudent · 09/02/2012 17:32

OMG re Bathsheba's house. OMG.

I want any house with the name of Soddington - brilliant name. Soddington Semi - has a good ring to it.

TerraNotSoFirma · 09/02/2012 18:18

Oh OP that is my dream house. Beautiful.
