Fair play to him for coming up with the most obscure combination of words.
Thinking outside the box has never been more cringe-worthy

You're making me hate him Sad. You guys Grin

redrubyshoes · 07/02/2012 19:28

I have four

"Yer know's"

Three mentions of John Lennon

One of The Beatles.

Now he is singing.........................oh fuck.

KurriKurri · 07/02/2012 19:29

He's certainly working hard to become a National Treasure, he must think there's a Lordship with his name on it just around the corner. All it will take is for him to be asked to compose a special song (or worse one of his orchestral extravaganzas) for The Diamond Jubilee.

6yo DD was in hysterics at the name of the album.

I said he made Robbie Williams look (sound?) like Frank Sinatra.

And that he has no (financial need) to embarrass himself like this.

DH said we were missing the point.

I'm still not sure what the point is.

(Just to complete my off-on-a-tanget for SarahDoctor, William Dalrymple is a posh travel writer.)

KurriKurri · 07/02/2012 19:31

He was never much of a singer - if you watch the Beatles live, he's always straining to reach the notes, he tries to hide it by wobbling his head about and opening his eyes very wide. We're onto you Paulie, you crapper.

MrsChemist · 07/02/2012 19:32

Until I read this thread, it didn't even cross my mind that the album title is about letters.

I just snucked and thought, 'cheek or crack?'

redrubyshoes · 07/02/2012 20:01

I need a hobby. Here goes;

Yer Knows - 24 times

John Lennon - 8 times

The Beatles - 7 times.

but I did go to the loo and attend to supper.

LineRunner · 07/02/2012 20:06

Not much chat on the Heather Mills front, though.

redrubyshoes · 07/02/2012 20:13

I bet he wrote a song for her though.

I can just imagine her on a swing garlanded with flowers in a long white dress with the background going all fuzzy while he tinkles on the ivories.

KatieScarlett2833 · 07/02/2012 20:14

His face looks like that of one who has actually managed to disappear up their own arse.

Pinched and slimy.

KatieScarlett2833 · 07/02/2012 20:15

The new wife lyrics would be crap though

"I'll luv ya fer ever
Your better than He-tha
I'm making the quidz
Being down wiv tha kids"

SuePurblybilt · 07/02/2012 20:15

I reckon her wrote that 'everybodys gunna dance' song for her. It's as awful as she is

I caught the last bit of the 'interview' Jamie Cullum coming in his pants and arse licking and it sounded as if he had new teeth, yes.

LineRunner · 07/02/2012 20:32

Katie Grin

and Sue Grin

Is mocking Macca actually allowed by MN?

KatieScarlett2833 · 07/02/2012 20:34

Dunno Linerunner

Does he give MN cash?

He's always struck me as a possessive, dominating creep, with a touch of an 'untouchable' attitude about him.

The way he grabbed his new wife's hand and held it aloft in triumph after they married just gave me the creeps.

HM deserved every penny of that divorce settlement

Chubfuddler · 07/02/2012 20:52

I may need to copy and paste this thread somewhere so I can enjoy it at my leisure. I fear hq will get trigger happy with the delete button....

LineRunner · 07/02/2012 20:56

Macca mocking is a game for all the family.

suebfg · 07/02/2012 20:59

No, YANBU - he's an old fart and should act his age - yuck how embarrassing.

AnyFucker · 07/02/2012 20:59

it's the gift that keeps on giving...

ScatterChasse · 07/02/2012 21:00

That advert Shock.

Firstly, he can't remember how to tie a tie (that or he's bloody fidgety).

Secondly, he is definitely about to do a V sign at the end, when it fades very quickly.

ThePathanKhansWitch · 07/02/2012 21:06

He is an arse-hole. So it's quite appropriate really.

LineRunner · 07/02/2012 21:08

Actually I hope Heather Mills is reading this. She is the Anne of Cleves of Macca's marriages.

misty0 · 07/02/2012 21:34

Just watching the preparations on the news for the Queen's 60 year bash outside Buck House, being organised by Gary Barlow.

I turned and said to my OH 'thank God Sir. Tortoise Face hasnt been drafted in!'

But hey! Surprise! He's headlining the bloody concert. Groan.

When will he ever go away?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 07/02/2012 21:36

Paul McFartney should be put in the Tower of London. And made to listen to Sting playing his lute for all eternity.
