just wanted to ask about this situation.
I was on my way to an evening group last night, walking, when one of the other ladies from the group stopped and gave me a lift the rest of the way. We got to the carpark and i asked her if she needed change for the parking she said no that she had a carpark ticket. All fine so in we go. At the end she said, come on ill give you a lift to the end of your road, save you the walk, i asked if she was sure, she said yes.
Ae got to her car to find she had a parking ticket.
Turned out even after we had talked about it, she had forgotten to put her ticket in the car window.
She went back in and asked if they would accept it was a mistake and waive the fee but apparently they dont.
So she was fuming and said her hubby would be fuming and that she thought i should pay half so he wouldnt notice her paying the full wack.
I said no.
In my view, i didnt ask for the lift, i mentioned paying towards the parking, and she said she had it covered.
wibu?
