If you're self employed but have only one employer (scuse wording I haven't the foggiest of terminology) the they have to include sick pay, etc., into your rate.

My DH is self employed and all his clients/employers pay holiday pay... when he only worked for one, they had to pay sick pay etc as well.

I do his books and my own. I PAY to get the tax returns done because it leaves me weeping and worse off than I should be, my accountant knows the score better than me, and though we pay, the money saved makes her very cheap. Always worth getting an accountant to do tax returns I think.

Mind you, I see forms and am like a rabbit in headlights, took me a week to join MN.
