Stop with your bitching my friends.

Really.

Too much opprobrium.

I don't think women hate women. Just some humans hate some other humans, and a bigger deal is made of it when it's female humans.

The only people I've ever felt hatred for are men, but in general I'm not a hater. Tend to empathise more with women and have lots more female friends than male. But it's ok not to like some people, whatever their gender.

ReneeVivien · 15/01/2012 01:57

I don't hate women and, so far as I can tell, I don't think they hate me.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/01/2012 02:06

I don't hate anyone. There is one person I despise and a couple I would rather not have to deal with, but I generally believe people are good.

tallwivglasses · 15/01/2012 02:42

I think sometimes we have more tolerance for men and have higher expectations of women - so when they let us down or piss us off, we're less likely to forgive them maybe?

ComposHat · 15/01/2012 02:47

DH's granny always wanted to dance on his DSF's grave - she did - she was 40 years older than him - he deserved it.

I have never heard of anyone actually doing it, that is quite impressive stuff? What kind of dance does one do? A jig maybe?

I might specify someone does a bit of breakdancing on mine, a bit of locking and popping, that sort of thing.

spiderslegs · 15/01/2012 03:03

It was a joyous jig - DH's mother died when he was 14, he was taken in by his SF, he was thrown out & rejected about two weeks later - his granny took him back.

i don't hate women at all esp as i get older. However, we compete with each other, that's the cause of so much misunderstanding/animosity imho. We don't tend to compete with men on a personal level so they can be more relaxing company as a result/

raffle · 15/01/2012 03:20

I know some of our friends bitch about each other, but it's just surface stuff. we lure each other really Wine

raffle · 15/01/2012 03:22

We do not lure each other, that would be odd...we lurve each other, even tho my iPad thinks differently

Sleepy he must have been a gay man?

Boomerwang · 15/01/2012 04:02

LeQueen I'm the same. I don't hate anyone at all, but if I dislike someone I just don't have anything to do with them. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt first, though, because I have been overly judgemental in the past based on initial impressions.

Women can be competitive and those that are will tend to do it in a nasty bitchy way instead if being open about it

Megatron · 15/01/2012 08:10

I don't hate anyone apart from Cliff Richard, but I feel that's justified.

There are a few folk I'm not particularly keen on but I just give them a wide berth as much as possible. It bothers me more if I have a 'run in' (which is pretty rare to be honest) with a woman than with a man, I'm not sure why.

JustHecate · 15/01/2012 08:13

Some people don't like people they think have something they don't, or look better than them, or are more successful than them...

It's really not a woman thing. It's a personality thing.

Jealousy.

mishtake · 15/01/2012 08:15

Hate? Bit steep innit?
I reserve my hatred for despots and torturers amd scumbags that inflict pain and cruelty on any living thing.

tallwivglasses · 15/01/2012 09:06

Yeah mish, that pretty much accurately describes the person I mentioned Sad

Proudnscary · 15/01/2012 09:08

Why do OPs come on here using intentionally baffling words and stating utter nonsense as fact?

MarquiseOfMelburnia · 15/01/2012 09:17

No, OP, I know just what you mean. Don't know if I'd call it hate, though.

Some women are threatened by other women, they can be jealous and they can be competitive. I do not know why. Surely bitchiness comes from somewhere???

I can in all honesty say I have never bitched about a man the way I have bitched about other women.
