AIBU in thinking there should be more Beverleys?

Beverleys are all kind and warm people who make excellent nurses and dinner ladies. I think just being called Beverley (or Beverly) makes people cuddly and loving. Nerys Hughes would make a wonderful Beverley. As far as I know, there has never been a major war started by somebody called Beverley.
Maybe criminals/members of parliament should be made to change their names to Beverley to make them change their naughty ways?

NOT BOSOMY!! This cannot be true.

I'm a Beverley and I am bosomy. I am 47 and have never liked my name. When I worked as a receptionist I was often called Debbie for some reason and I never corrected people Grin

Oh this thread reminds me of chatting to DH about possible names for our future imaginary children. His first suggestion was Beverley. He was promptly told he would not be involved in choosing names for any of my future children, imaginary or otherwise!

I work with a Beverley, and she's fabulous, talented, funny, and a credit to the name' Smile

The first Mr Norks was a Beverley.
But he was a tit rather than a bosom

I went to the girls' school in Beverley (the town!) and it was the bitchiest school ever.
Funnily enough though there weren't many people called Beverley there. Could have done with a few more!

My SIL is called Beverley, was born in Beverley and went to said girl's school. She is very lovely but not conventionally cuddly - that's my job within the family. . . . Grin

Mmm not sure what to make of all this....I'm a Beverley born in the 1960's . Mostly known as Bev and not at all bosomy quite the opposite in fact. If I wasn't Beverley I was going to be Penelope!!
