Despite the fact that he's slightly delusional and lists his resume all the time, I actually quite like Andrew Stone. I felt quite sorry for him when he was nominated.

I have always enjoyed watching Andrew Stone on Pineapple because he is so fasinating.

I made a special effort to watch CBB because he was in it and I have been really enoying it. I am surprised he was voted off in favour of the model, I really am. He would have made better TV than one of 4 glamour models?

You are right about him lying about his age on Pineapple. That was what made him so fantastic to watch on that show, he was so deluded and yet somehow loveable. He has talent but not for what he wants to do. He is perfect for musical theatre but he wanted to be a pop star, it was the definition of a tragedy.
Via my DH work I saw "Starman" perform at a corporate event and they were really fun to watch but its not pop and its not chart music.

For some strange reason I have been thinking hard about whats changed with his screen persona and here are my thoughts!

On CBB I think some things had gone wrong for him. I think he looks better blonde. That dark hair makes him look older and a bit sleazy. He has also bulked up a bit which I think dosent suit him. Lean is more youthful, and as a dancer he could well achieve that.
He came across as a bit mean minded saying he "knew his stuff" and therefore wouldnt discuss a topic. He was also very tense. Even his laughing seemed forced.

And finally for those of you who remember it from Pineapple, he is a bit of a sweater isnt he?

That episode in Pineapple when he interviewed these big security guards....He genuinely felt he would need protecting from hordes of fans and bless those men...They just about managed to keep a straight, professional face!

There was one episode that will stay with me forever.

He does a small gig in a pub. A young teenage fan comes along and gets to meet him. He is really sweet with her and sings one of his songs directy to her, whilst holding her hand. The songs lyrics suddenly get really inappropiate and unsuitable. He slowly removes his hand and slinks away from her.

What side is Pineapple on as only get freeview ? Just wondering how I can get to see it ?

They all make me hurl (except for Michael and Denise)... people who need fame et al are so very sad, and BB is excellent telly to see just how ridiculous they are. They have delusions of grandeur and are actually pitiful. A sad indictment of society. Andrew seems harmless but is quite pathetic for his desperate need to be recognised... like he needs to prove something.

And what exactly are they famous for... for showing off their bodies, having affairs, taking drugs etc. Erm.... a mighty 'talented' bunch there huh!?

There are a couple proper talents in there and we all know who they are... oh! I mentioned them... ;)

Loved that Youtube clip of him being jealous. I'd never seen him before CBB but he is very watchable. He was biting his knuckle in angst like Tim curry in Rocky Horror the other day, it was hilarious

He's nearly 40, he comes across as being desperate to be popular, retain his youth and be liked....he craves attention and fame. He gets so worked up about trivial things...when there are much bigger, serious things to get worked up about....as he will no doubt one day realise.

I had never heard of him before the programme.

I feel sorry for him...

Does anyone know if Big Brother have done away with the rule that they mustn't talk about nominations?

Channel 5 seem much more relaxed about these things....whereas channel 4 was soooo strict!

I was dying for their little convos to be played back to the rest of the house but it didn't happen

Can't say many of the girls have caught my interest, or even my eye, they're mostly the same plastic mould aren't they? Except Natalie, who seems to make up in bitterness and scathing what she lacks in traditional beauty, which is a shame, she could be a winner if she quit bitching. She was so ungracious in the task where Andrew had to say who was better or worse looking than him.

I thought Andrew came across as a kind person who felt very uncomfortable. Denise, bless her, was the only one who gave Andrew a great big cuddle when he returned. Natalie just bitched. Grr.

Oh dear. I thought I was successfully fighting the bloody Big Brother addiction. I HATE the bloody show probably because against all better judgement, I love it. Dammit!

I've missed it for a couple of days. Shame andrew has been evicted IMO.

I'm warming towards the twins even though I nearly switched it off when they went in.

Haven't watched one of these since Pete Burns and George Osbourne were there doing their robot-dance in 2006!
