Despite the fact that he's slightly delusional and lists his resume all the time, I actually quite like Andrew Stone. I felt quite sorry for him when he was nominated.

Oh AND I was impressed when he was talking to that american bloke about the twins and he was having trouble telling them apart and the american bloke said it didn't matter in the slightest as they were just playboy twins and andrew told him off.

I like that Smile

Spidermama · 10/01/2012 18:16

I think it was cruelly editted showing all his neediness in all its glory. The the Irish girl must also have talked about her feelings at being nominated but there was NOTHING of her. Unless they redress the balance tonight.

Either way, if Frankie can just be a bit less creey and gagging for it, he stands a very good chance.

SardineQueen · 10/01/2012 18:52

I also thing his sob story about always being different was (while possibly true) also meant to garner sympathy votes.

To have been in dancing industry for years you must have hide of a rhino. Which he generally seems to have TBH. He is deluded about his own talents though, obv.

newmum953 · 10/01/2012 20:08

My favourite Pineapple episode was the one when Starman had the showcase for the music industry.
So as usual the girls provide all the t&a for Big Brother and who do we get to look at?
I think Michael Madsen will win.

Ii know someone who knows someone who does dance classes with him and apparently his really inspiring to be around and totally different away from the telly.

cornastasiaski · 10/01/2012 20:39

i LOVE him.

mrsjay · 10/01/2012 21:08

crypes he seems a genuine guy and means nobody any harm hes just really really dramatic and cheesey Grin

M0naLisa · 10/01/2012 21:25

he is a dick, i liked him until last night, he didnt give a fuck about getting nominated then went on and on and on and on and on about it.
ffs get a grip its a game show!!

newmum953 · 11/01/2012 18:35

Is Big Brother like being in high school? It really brings out some strange behaviour in people.

Kitchentiles · 11/01/2012 19:27

I rather admire him. He is absolutely and completely confident that he is something special - there is no chink of self doubt anywhere. Makes a change from the usual angst-ridden-cover-it-up-with-bravado type celebrities.

DaydreamDolly · 11/01/2012 19:30

YABU. He is a complete tool, can't bear how disillusioned he is about his 'career' and 'talent'.
I feel sorry for him actually, but watching him on tv makes me want to hurt people.

DaydreamDolly · 11/01/2012 19:31

Kitchentiles, you really think he is absolutely and completely confident? Guess again. Bravado all the way. Why the massive melt down on being nominated otherwise??

Kitchentiles · 12/01/2012 08:11

But that's it isn't it? Because he has no sense of his own naffness, the nomination has come as a total shock. His brain can't compute that people might not like him. Hence the meltdown.

aldiwhore · 12/01/2012 08:37

I have watched two episodes, so I haven't seen much, but what I did see seemed to be very biased. The girl from Eastenders? What a bitch! The worst kind, the kind that pretends she's not being a bitch at all.

I can't say I much liked what I saw of Andrew (it was the episode where he didn't move from the sofa outside) but on last night's best bits I thought he did okay.

I can see why the others wouldn't like him. He's been in showbiz 30+ years and does know his stuff, although telling a bunch of schlebs he knows best is never going to go down well is it? He was right about Frankie, but shouldn't have said it. Its okay to know your stuff, know you're funny, but rather vulgar and annoying to keep saying it!

I always feel sorry for people when they're evicted to boo-ing. One of the reasons I don't watch it much, its like a public execution, and so rude. Grrr.

cornastasiaski · 12/01/2012 08:49

'The worst kind, the kind that pretends she's not being a bitch at all. '
totally agree with this description of Natalie. She seems to be behind a lot of the bitching. Fancy saying that she was 'sacred' of Andrew - that's quite underhand I think.
I like Denise a lot and I really didn't think that I would.

cornastasiaski · 12/01/2012 08:49

sorry - scared of Andrew - not sacred!

BandOMothers · 12/01/2012 08:52

He IS likeable but the air of desperation is palpable and it turns people off. His EYES when he came out to booing....the pain in them! He wants uber fame SO badly that he reeks of it.

Eglu · 12/01/2012 08:57

I was interested to hear him admit to Nicola that he was born in 1972. In Pineapple he was always going on about being I think 26 or 28, and I always said to dh there was no way he was that young.

cornastasiaski · 12/01/2012 08:59

yes he said that he was 39

katkitya · 12/01/2012 08:59

I'm sad he came out. I haven't seen it yet. The ones that make good telly always go first. I love Michael but, I fear he will walk.

mrsjay · 12/01/2012 09:56

eglu 28 was his showbiz age .Grin gitted he came out , saw him on the biton the side show called nat casidy a cow lol he explained about the xfactor thing , He doesnt understand why people dont like him which is sad he is still Deluded eh

kerstina · 12/01/2012 10:10

Am gutted and sad that he has gone. I had never heard of him before BB so he has made a new fan in me. I got the impression Brian Dowling and Emma Willis thought he should have stayed and that they really liked him too.
Think he is lovely looking (why did the twins call him ugly ?!!!) Looks like a young Cliff Richard.
Have realised I am attracted to gentle, camp men ...Andrew Stone ,James Blunt Grin

mrsjay · 12/01/2012 10:12

kerstina he reminds me of H from steps thats who i think he looks like , and the twins think he is ugly erm twinnies you were bedding HEFF

kerstina · 12/01/2012 10:15

Well nope I don't fancy anyone from steps maybe not that camp !Grin
Agree Natalie is a bitch and thinks she rules the roost rationing drinks ect.
Brilliant actress though cant argue with that.

mrsjay · 12/01/2012 10:17

lol kerstina you like a bit of manliness in your camp then Grin
