My PBF DS is 5-and-a-half months old. He's wonderful. But the little shit won't stop growing!

Seriously. He's in 9-12 clothes because of his weight and length. He's a bouncer just like his daddy!

Been putting off going through all of his clothes, and was finally strongarmed into it by MIL who said that she can't find anything in his wardrobe to fit him anymore.

Cue me bursting into tears and wanting him to shrink.

There are sooo many clothes that I can't bear the thought of him not wearing! His "I Love Milk" babygro with a cow pattern, his Tigger pyjamas, his soft winter-fleece baby-gro...

Wahhhhh!

I reckon a google search might find you someone who could make one - or have a look on Folksy or NotOnTheHighStreet, maybe?

The only ones I've found are American... and are charging upwards of $500!!

Screw that, I'll do it myself for goodness sake. I'll enlist my mum's sewing machine!

I 've got details of a couple of people on facebook in the UK who make blankets/quilts and teddies/rabbits/monkeys etc out of old clothes.

Can't get on facebook here (at work...oops Blush), but will try to post their details/websites later when I get home

I've got a stash of clothes to keep - some which I just love and can't bear to part with, and a bag full which I have to get someone else to make a blanket/teddy when I get round to it!

StealthPenguin · 07/01/2012 09:23

Oooh, please post their details! I've been watching How-To videos all night and I can't shake the feeling I'll fuck it all up and just have a bunch of ruined babygros!

A friend of mine makes bears from baby clothes - she's on fb as bubs bears.. truly lovely things (am saving up to have one made from DD2's old clothes).

I am thinking I am weird as even though my youngest is 2 and I have no baby stuff in the house, not even a bib.

Sorry for taking so long StealthPenguin Blush

Not sure whether they have websites as well but the two that I know of on Facebook are craftydays and handmadebylaura

I think that you can look at photos of what they have made and from what I can remember, the prices seem to be quite reasonable Smile

Fab! Thanks for sending me those!

even if you did take a bloody age grumblegrumble
