Who seem to think that if you're above a certain shoe size, you want to wear horrific things that are actually less preferable that a bin bag and elastic band around your feet!!!!

really makes me vvery angry and shoe shopping unbearable. im a 9 EEE have been since I was 11 ,

I've always has this problem , and now it looks like I'll be getting married in some horrific creation. because I made the grave sin of being born with large feet.

For example : I typed in size 5 wedding shoes
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=Size+5+wedding+shoes&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Then I type in size 9:
www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=Size+9+wedding+shoes&_sacat=0&_odkw=Size+5+wedding+shoes&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

sigh is it always going to be like this?

I bought rachel Simpson shoes for my wedding and they were perfect. I originally bought a few pairs online and then sent the ones I didnt go with, back. Customer service was great.

Dances: I think my feet stopped growing when I was 12ish.

Not wedding shoes, but I find Ecco the best! Comfy and well made. Yes they have a rep that they cater for the more, eh, mature lady, but some really nice styles at the mo. I have worn these every day since I bought them. www.ecco-shoes.co.uk/shop/sale/snow-black.php

whatdoiknowanyway Are you me? I was exactly the same in the '70s, until my granny took me to Tall and Small in Oxford St.
However my feet didn't shrink down, no matter how many slightly too small shoes i squeezed into.. I'm a size 10, with an ingrowing toenail nowadays.

  • But i'm very happy that you found some beautiful boots Smile
I have noticed a few more shops stocking size 9s these days but definitely not nearly enough.

If i had a pound for everytime in my life i've seen shoes i'd love to wear, and moaned about how I wish i had girls feet!.. n.b if you type in size 10 shoes online you tend to get drag queen shoes, grrreat!

Rosabella- i'll keep an eye on your website, and best of luck

I remember the annual trip to Oxford Street with my Mum so well.............once we stayed over in a posh hotel and Mum took me to the theatre to see La Cage Aux Folles and I wore my brand new white stilletto's which crippled me but I looked great............in 1986!!!

SillyOldBear - What style of wedding shoes are you looking for? When is the wedding? I am hoping to have a collection of satin bridal shoes (around £60 mark) available in May which might help you?

Just as a reference, Lutterworth (where my shop will be) is less than 1 mile off Junction 20 of the M1 so very centrally located and easy to travel to.

I love Ecco. I am only a size 7 but I damaged my foot a few years ago and really struggle to find comfy shoes. I had a little weep when I first tried on a pair of Ecco boots. I was just so thrilled to have found something comfy.

Feet are so important. No hoof no horse Grin
