to think that Andy Carroll makes Liverpool a worse team?

Seriously, I'm annoyed that the was the ball is just lumped towards to him. He isn't his fault that the other players are doing that but he isn't even winning enough of them. Even Clichy beat him in the air tonight!

I'm another anti-saurez red. He also handles the ball like a goalie, dives, and bites people. With Kenny backing him so strongly, he might need to get axed as well as Saurez before we can move on.

We swapped Torres for Carroll plus 15 million. Bargain! He's young and might be a late developer.

toweraboveyou · 04/01/2012 22:04

I think Torres would be scoring for fun if he was still at Liverpool.

Always thought he would play better if he had a decent haircut!

Panzee · 04/01/2012 22:23

I am really heartened to hear of Liverpool fans who are not blindly following Kenny's line on Suarez. Other forums I was frequenting were getting me worried.

PansPeople · 04/01/2012 22:23

May I draw attention to the rolling footie thread in Dadsnet, please? Belfastbloke and I have sort of let it wither on the vine due to lack of other posters actually posting.

Thank you.

and yes, Torres was very badly advised, and frankly screwed Liverpool on a last-day-of-the-window demand to move. He knew stuff. He is getting all he deserves, imo.

PansPeople · 04/01/2012 22:26

I lived in Liverpool for 3 years - Iam not at all surprised by those fans' ability to see the bigger picture re Suarez and Dalglish.

Glittertwins · 04/01/2012 22:35

I was rather miffed to see Carroll go to Liverpool and again when they nicked Enrique as well. Dead chuffed we walloped Man U who even gifted us an own goal to tonight.

Glittertwins · 04/01/2012 22:37

Dalgliesh right royally screwed Newcastle when he was "manager" too

PansPeople · 04/01/2012 22:43

Yes, the result at St James Park wasn't unexpected for us. (Man U). We have an injury list that could supply an entire other Premier League Team. But, it's the long game, isn't it? We will win the title again. Newcastle will be scrabbling for 8th position. Sorry.Smile

TiggyD · 04/01/2012 22:53

At least Carroll looks good.

(I must confess to looking like a cross between Carroll and James May)Shock

PansPeople · 04/01/2012 23:00

Well there's admission that we could do with in Dadsnet, for a for instance...

neshnosher · 05/01/2012 05:21

Dadsnet's harder to find than Kennys morals :)
A link please if you can .
Great result for city last night btw, cheers Newcastle :)

I had a feeling things were going to go tits up last night. Hope Fergie thinks three lost points was worth it to punish Rooney! I must say, I understand that players need to follow the club rules, but it seems a bit silly to not allow them to go to a restaurant with their wives. It sounds like a pretty civilised occasion, not like they were knocking back vodka in a pub.

neshnosher · 05/01/2012 07:55

Rooney will be asking for a move again soon after the restaurant debacle and uniteds demise from challenging for all the honours.

Some of Mancinis mannerisms are James Mayish :)

FlangelinaBallerina · 05/01/2012 07:55

And can I just say, I love Demba Ba.

OriginalJamie · 05/01/2012 17:18

tower - I commented because it is my right to do so. I was venting. I get very little escape from loud boring conversations about football at work.

However, I respect your right to talk football here I shall now go away and let you get on with it.

mankyscotslass · 05/01/2012 17:25

Rooney is doing a Beckham at United - he will go the same way.

Good result for City last night. Grin

Glittertwins · 05/01/2012 23:46

You probably aren't wrong the PansPeople on the final place prediction or the injury list! If it had been anyone else playing other than Toon, I would have been rooting for Man U to win to kep the pressure on City!

Glittertwins · 05/01/2012 23:46

Apologies for typos there
