Pliny, I'm not sure what qualifies you to be the judge of what people should be ashamed of. Maybe she namechanged for this thread because she's in the minority (now that others have been chased away) and doesn't want people to hold her genuine views against her in other threads. If some MNers could accept that not agreeing with them doesn't translate as being wrong and stupid, people wouldn't have to namechange in order to express their views.

Moral compass belongs to the owner of that compass.
The same for conscience.

Why does she care if some people think she is wrong or stupid? Others don't. I'm not saying I do, I've no opinion of her at all. I hate the thing she asked you to link to. And I hate that some people think it's worthy of sharing.

You can hate someone's action and viewpoint without hating them. And if she is so ashamed of liking this sort of thing, maybe she should be wondering why people disapprove of it?

I thought it had already been established that those willing to laugh and point at others had a superior sense of humour and would not object to having the piss ripped out of their public profiles. Your wife appears not to want anyone to see her public profile and associate her with this thread or you in case she gets the piss ripped out of her. Smacks of being a cowardly hypocrite IMO.
