Now you're just showing off Grin

ProjectGainsborough · 01/01/2012 14:35

I laughed at the blonde scribbly one. I think it's because it's the only one that invites you to laugh at the artist (oh, fuck it, I can't draw) rather than at the people in the photos.

Oh, and regards what mrsdevere said upthread, I would imagine the artist probably does have a small penis. Or some sort of sense of perceived inadequacy to make him quite so chippy toward women he doesn't know.

And finally... who was the woman who slept with with the PH when he emailed her a picture of a giant cock. Really? Really??

JenniferEight · 01/01/2012 14:36

áéíóú

wowzers it works

tethersend · 01/01/2012 14:38

The thing is, if they lampooned different subjects I would laugh. A lot. But his motivation has sucked the humour out of it for me- it's not a case of stopping myself laughing; in fact, I'm quite pissed off that he stopped me finding them funny by making them about his issues with women and their perceived vanity.

ThePathanKhansWitch · 01/01/2012 14:42

Horribly cruel,i found the amount of posters who found the picture of the black woman highly amusing really upsetting. Just vile.

RhondaRoo · 01/01/2012 15:27

I don't think my view is outdated. I have been on PoF and I was there because I felt incredibly vulnerable and was looking for some form of 'help' for want of a better word. Not sex, but somebody to find me attractive and make me feel better after a particularly shitty end to a particularly shitty relationship.

I was vulnerable. There are others on the site who aren't, granted. There are many who are and I can assure you, the idea that my picture may have been used in this way fills me with horror. As a woman who has put themselves 'out there' it isn't funny, it's twattish behaviour by mindless pricks.

SOH in tact, but reserved for funny and amusing things.

RhondaRoo · 01/01/2012 15:29

can't be bothered correcting any of my spelling or grammatical errors - head still fuzzy from last night Grin

confuddledDOTcom · 01/01/2012 15:42

Skipped a few posts so it could have been said but this guy is Australian (for the comments about British humour) and he used his own photo to join the website with.

I found it mildly amusing but not splitting my sides like some people, some were nasty. I have been on dating websites (thanks for the H2B and three children) and believe me you get much worse than some guy who thinks he's funny. My profile at one point were my ten rules (ask me anything you want, don't tell me we were made for each other, as much as I like older men my mum's only [whatever she was] etc) the decent guys saw through it and anyone who got funny over it were people who were affected by it (ie lost their best chat up lines).

whogivesastuff · 01/01/2012 15:56

How was finding the black womans pics funny more vile than finding the white womans pic funny

Jesus. Some people will try and manufacture racism at any and every opportunity lol

Chubfuddler · 01/01/2012 15:59

Because the physical attribute on which she was being attacked was her skin colour. Do you really need this explaining?

hotmomma · 01/01/2012 16:19

SuePurblybilt · 01/01/2012 16:19

Snort.

toweraboveyou · 01/01/2012 16:20

Can I just point out that i asked if IABU to think it was brilliant trolling. I didn't condone trolling in any way, just pointed out that it was a good example of HOW to do it if you wanted to. The fact that it has caused such a stir confirms my point. Wink And I did laugh.

Brilliant, misogynistic, racist, trolling.

What's not to like?

Onesunnymorningin2012 · 01/01/2012 16:21

How very disingenuous of you, OP. YABU.

toweraboveyou · 01/01/2012 16:26

Can I just point out, btw, that I found that link on another forum and my DW asked me to share it on here because SHE thought you might find it amusing? Is SHE a misogynist?

OP posts:
JenniferEight · 01/01/2012 16:27

No, sorry, too late OP. We all despise you now because you think it's funny.

Sorry Smile

JenniferEight · 01/01/2012 16:28

Oh you're a man!

Now that really complicates things.

JenniferEight · 01/01/2012 16:28

Perhaps your DW is a misogynist, yes. So? It's allowed you know, women can hate women.

toweraboveyou · 01/01/2012 16:29

I don't mind being despised on here because you're women and women's views aren't important to me. Mwa ha ha. Wink Grin Wink
