I really thought there would be more threads on this by now? I am clearly a miserable old bag. I will be staying in with my bottle of wine and Twiglets.

Me too - supposed to go out tonight with DH my DBro and partner and their friend who's staying over. Dbro and partner came today and we confirmed see you later etc etc. Started to prepare dinner for tomo, cook tonights meal, fix fucking xmas tree again ( why is it always the last bastard bulb . Sat down on settee after eating (always fatal) and thought you know what ? l just cant be bloody arsed. Now DH gone out on his own but has promised to be home before midnight - after saying sick of hearing me moaning - l only said l couldnt be bothered going out. Know what? couldnt care less

I've never seen the point of NYE, tis just a normal night to me. Now it would cost a fortune after factoring babysitting costs. DS is crashed out next to us on the sofa after waking up wailing inconsolably. Pass the vino ;)

Hate NYE. can't see the point and have not celebrated for absolutely ages and when I did it was a crappy house party.
Not got my pjs on just yet but covered over with a fleecy banket and will probs see NY in with the Hooternanny then again I could go to bed now
