My DS wants me to tell you that he has only had one bottle of tea today. And that the nearest clock to his cot (where he is asleep) is my alarm clock (we are decorating and his cot is in my room atm)

Raahh · 28/12/2011 22:54

4 mugs, twinings green tea with ginger. tis a 'seasonal' one so i am stocking up.
clock about 10 foot from my seat on the sofa- just above the tv on the wall. it is actually the only real clock in the house- but the clock on my phone in next to me on the sofa.

sparklytinselandthings · 28/12/2011 22:55

About 4 cups of Earl Grey tea. Oh and the clock is behind me. Grin

ChimesTrulyRing · 28/12/2011 23:02

not nearly enough! On 4th of the evening. Got a new mug for Christmas so am trying it out.

Clock on laptop is wrong so nearest correct clock is on phone

brighthair · 28/12/2011 23:11

2 cups of tea
Clock on my phone which is in my hand

KittyFane · 28/12/2011 23:13

None and in hall.

thenightsky · 28/12/2011 23:15

7 cups of tea.

Clock is propped against the wall on the floor, about 8 foot away (moved house 5 years ago and still cannot decide where to make the hole in the wall to hang the fecking thing)

RustyBear · 28/12/2011 23:17

No tea, about four cups of coffee

Not counting the clocks on iPad and phone and my watch, I have four clocks in the room at the moment. A blue stone one on the shelf behind me, a sort of junkyard metal one on the tall shelf in front of me, a small dark red enamel one on the mantlepiece and a bronze one on a tall stalk on my right. I can't be arsed to work out which is closest.

TheNoodlesIncident · 28/12/2011 23:17

No matter how many drinks of tea I have had, the moment I see the words "cups of tea" I REALLY REALLY WANT ONE. It makes me wonder if Tetley lace their teabags with cocaine.

Clock, bah. There's one in every room in this house. I have clocks obsession too. Like pairs of scissors. In every room.

Did someone mention tea?

backwardLFDTpossom · 28/12/2011 23:18

5, mantelpiece.

lurkinginthebackground · 28/12/2011 23:18

No tea only several coffees and the clock is on the mantlepiece.

RustyBear · 28/12/2011 23:21

Actually just realised there is also DH's clock in a rocket that he won at some company do, a miniature grandfather clock in the bureau, and a wooden clock on top of the bureau, but that one doesn't work, so it doesn't count.

shockers · 28/12/2011 23:22

None... on the chimney breast behind me.

duchesse · 28/12/2011 23:24

0 cups of tea as am allergic and have not drunk any at all since 1994. Nearest clock is on the computer in front of me. Nearest "proper clock" is about 20m away in the sitting room.

Tortington · 28/12/2011 23:28

i have a teapot of cold tea in front of me and i have just realised i dont own a proper clock Shock

i didn't actully realise that before

openyerlugholes · 28/12/2011 23:32

At least ten cups of tea and my nearest clock is on the wall 3m from where I am sitting. Ticking loudly, reminding me to stop posting on inane threads and get to bed.

SilverMachine · 28/12/2011 23:33

No tea, no clocks.

Only whiskey and a panicky feeling of being late allowed in this household Grin

LittleJennyRobyn · 28/12/2011 23:38

Dont drink tea, so none.
But can make up for it with the clocks though not including laptop. I currently have 5 in the living room with me right now.
Its usually 7 but had to move two to the dining room for the christmas decs so 4 in the dining room.

can you tell i like clocks???? Grin
