to take my Christmas decorations down?

I wanted to do it yesterday, but didn't because for some reason New Years Eve doesn't feel the same without Christmas decorations.
However, we have now decided to go to a friends house NYE so my reason for keeping them up is no longer valid.
I love Christmas and have had a great one, but I'm itching to take the bloody tree down and get back to reality!
Am I a miserable bat? Grin

Put it up on the 18th this year (early for me), been wanting to take it down since yesterday.

It's messy, cluttered, dusty (open fire), small house.

Just want to clean and de clutter the house now - probably related to boredom and being unable to relax for too long.

Def NU.

I've only really got Christmas tree in the way of decs so will leave it up for a bit longer (probably 2nd), but I undecorated the dining table today as we've got friends coming to play cards on Friday, and all but immediate family cards went in the recycling.

Sound like a right misery guts but tbh I can't wait to get back to work & normality next week. No matter how I try to play it Christmas always ends up hugely stressful for me and although I enjoy the build up, by about the 23rd I'm on a downer (and usually ill) and desperate for it to be over.
