I earn ok money, I know. But I also have a lot of outgoings, and certainly don't have the couple of hundred quid I need to sort out my teeth.

Just feeling a bit sad as someone's put a picture of me on FB and while I'm grinning away happily, my cap on my front top tooth looks so so ugly. Yellow/brown despite me brushing twice a day. :-( Sorry - more of Am I Wollowing In Self Pity?!

i go to the peninsular dental school for my dental work and everything is free apart from car parking but i have had three fillings done all pain free and brilliant care so who cares if you pay £2 for two hours parking

Thank you Sarah,
You sound pretty frustrated with the system you have to work within.
Yes I have discoloured areas on back teeth. Young dentist said 3 x fillings [and used jabber thing horribly] but nearing retirement dentist [who I miss!] said 'bet your teeth came through like that'. Xray every 2 years [touchwood] clear.
Seeking new dentist. My brother seems to have found good one so may try him out. I will be ridiculously nervous and will babble on about my discoloured back teeth and don't jab me and generally be a wittery pain!
My son will go in with his Dad as I know I am not a good influence and he is calm with dentists.
Thanks again for detailed answer.
Got loads of wrapping here!!
