(already made this a topic in conception but more traffic here)

I've been contraception free since the 17th so very early days I know lol I think I perhaps need to clam down a bit lol, no AF visit in that time either.

I think im due around late dec/early I think,
I had very wierd cramping last night I wasn't in agony but very uncomfortable IYSWIM went on all night, and a wierd tingly feeling in my arms.
I was expecting AF to arrive, but hasnt so far.
I have felt like a heartbeat sensation and bubbles sensation, too.

wierd stuff, AIBU am I being too optimistic/hysterical ??

I need it, Kenobi. There are some very confused people on MN.

Onemorning · 20/12/2011 18:25

Silly, definitely. But I sympathise, TTC is a pain in the arse and I looked for symptoms every time.

Newtothisstuff · 20/12/2011 18:45

I know this is mean but the only comment I feel I can give is LOL Grin

999helpmypuddingsonfire · 20/12/2011 18:57

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have symptoms this early.
By the way, this thread would have been banned on netmums due to the jokes ( I'm new here today yay yay yay ) he he he x

MeconiumHappens · 20/12/2011 20:16

Haha bonkers. Grin

Pandemoniaa · 20/12/2011 20:27

Well I'd have asked the Angel Gabriel for rather more specific information, myself. But in the absence of detail, best avoid long journeys by donkey until after the New Year.

Xmas Grin
ouryve · 20/12/2011 21:02

You need a jolly good fart. That would relieve the cramps and the bubbling sensation.

EllenandBump · 20/12/2011 21:04

My mum said she knew the day after she had fallen for us that she was pregnant. But i am afraid to say it is unlikely and wanting to be pregnant can sometimes make you believe you are pregnant when you arent. Sorry. x

difficulttimes · 20/12/2011 21:07

GoingForGoalWeight · 20/12/2011 22:31

difficulttimes · 20/12/2011 22:56

its a dirty word festi lol

Rollergirl1 · 20/12/2011 22:56

To the person who scoffed at women knowing when they are ovulating. Why is that such a difficult concept to grasp?! It's not magic, or rocket science. I know exactly when I am ovulating and from which side, mainly down to the (sometimes excruciating) ovarian pain and the discharge.

I also had implantation bleeding with both my pregnancies. I mistook both for periods as they came around the right time that i should have had my next period after conceiving. But anywaaay...

Rollergirl1 Ditto I suffer from Mittelschmerz so I do know when I have ovulated partly because I am doubled up eating painkillers.

Rollergirl1 · 20/12/2011 23:12

LeQueen: Sorry didn't mean to mis-interpret. I think it's weird/sad to be so un-knowing about your own body. What did she think periods were??

Chazs: Is that what its called? I find it crippling sometimes, certainly since having kids. Such a low heavy ache that sometimes i worry that everything is still where it should be.

keSnowBi · 21/12/2011 10:47

Good luck for next cycle OP!

difficulttimes · 21/12/2011 10:58

Awwww OP. Good luck trying.
Ha ha LeQueen, my MIL told me they didn't have umbilical cords in her day. (My DP did question that one and challenged her as to how babies received nutrients in her day. She reverted to "it's all a miracle" and vague mutterings...she's also trying to get us to feed 9 week old DS digestive biscuits in milk before we go to bed. My DP blames the fact he's short on her crap understanding of nutrition and I'm starting to believe him).

breatheslowly · 21/12/2011 14:42

Out of curiosity OP, which of the posts were you referring to as spiteful - I can't work out which of them was particularly upsetting.

difficulttimes · 21/12/2011 16:16

The one where I was asked 'do you know simple female biology'

No, actually I'm sat here thinking I'm haemorraghing, whats a period again? Oh wait I've sat on public toilet seats I could be pregnant after all (!).
