This is not "too much". More likely that other people are getting not enough. Cases like this usually involve highly paid professionals because - guess what - they can afford legal advice and fees, and have a strong sense of their own worth.
The government wants to roll back employment rights - extend the amount of time you can just be sacked with no reason for eg - so for people in less lucrative / more tenuous roles things are likely to be about to get worse.
