this is on the back of another thread about guessing someones wealth and it made me compare myself to folks better off then us, so i'll start with my 3 words

£100 million would buy an awful lot of happiness. Wink

DH could have had his surgery right away and foregone 2 years of chronic pain for one thing.

The house I fancy is £5 million for 100 acres in the lakes, that would make me very happy, DH could spend £5 million (at least) one one car, that would make him very happy.

Making DD / our family financially secure for life would make me very happy too.

I've always thought that those who maintain money can't buy happiness have never been properly short of money.

It can buy an awful lot of security and contentment, which goes a long towards happiness.
