be hurtful to anyone left out.

And unfortunately, because of the large numbers of MNers, there are inevitably going to be lots of lovely lovely posters who don't get a mention. (btw, I would love to have a Brew with all those who kindly mentioned me, annd loads more too).

It's so un~cool to be in a clique though isn't it - like you can't make it on your own.

SarahStratton · 23/11/2011 18:13

I luffs ya Fanjo. Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 18:16

aww I luff ya too Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 18:17

it's not too cool to "make it" on your own on a forum either really

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 18:17

its quite hard to be a member of MN and "be cool"

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 18:19

including myself there of course Grin

CheerfulYank · 23/11/2011 18:23

Psht. I am extremely cool.

notinmypocket · 23/11/2011 19:40

Really rycooler, there are only 4 or 5 funny people on MN?
And one of them must be you surely as that comment is quite hilarious.

You must know MN inside out. Something I can only aspire to.

I thought being supportive, thoughtful and trying to give good advice to posters who need it might count for something too.
But then again what do I know, I'm only a nobdie.

I was speaking personally - if I had to choose the people I'd like to meet in RL ( and this is what the thread is about ) I'd choose the people who make me laugh. I know MN is full of fantastic people giving great advice but I can't possibly know them all can I? This place has 1 million members.
Maybe it's just me, but the people who stick in my mind are the people who make me laugh - (or think) - and in the little bit of MN that I occupy I only have approximately 6 people on my love list.
I'm sorry.

un-cool?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 20:20

Serious question here for you rycooler - do you consider the Brave Babes threads, Stately Homes threads and the like classed as quiches to you?

See, for me, the Brave Babes and Stately Homes threads, to name just two, are support threads, as well as having regular posters on them. And yet, they are left alone mostly when it comes to the whole 'is it a quiche? A flan or a tart' threads Grin

I'm both a Brave Babe and a Nobdie and fine support in equal measure on both.

I used to be a Shiney too, for a short time. Then I was on the Lighter threads (bet no-one has heard of them Grin) for a while too.

I've posted on the support thread for those in abusive relationships too.

Maybe I'm a tart then, not a quiche but do you see why I'm asking? Smile

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 20:31

Talking of top decent posters, hello Mouseface :)

mouseface - I was taking the piss out of myself as I've been posting on the love clique thread for 2 weeks. I was trying to be ironic ( massive fail )
Cliquey threads are full of lovely, kind, and very funny people and are a great source of support.

Mouseface · 23/11/2011 20:53

Thanks Maryz, The Brave Babes thread is exactly as you say. Smile I feel honoured to be on there.

Hey Fanjo, thank you Blush

No worries rycooler Smile I just wasn't sure if you thought that there was a difference between certain threads, that's all. Thanks for answering.

FellatioNelson · 24/11/2011 11:59

I think of the more serious support threads as rather different to the fun quiches.

But MF perhaps you could be the first to have the title of Quiche Tart? Grin
